Chips from Enochs in the Junction was always regarded as a special treat when i was a kid. Nowadays, the I think the Galleon in Conwy are the best locally.

We also had fish & chips as a treat from Enochs when we visited our Gran in the Junction and they are still as good today, but you can't beat the delicious ones Hindley's Conway used to make in the 50/60's. Fred was the best fryer in town and always had large queues as they were so popular :)

I have happy memories of the Electra in Abergele Road, Colwyn Bay.  If you asked nicely, they would give you a scoop of "bits" as well which made a delicious combination with the chips.

First time round in Pydew, we used to use one in Mochdre in the group of shops just off the end of Station Road. Don’t think we used fish and chip takeaways much as a family second time round.

Greasy Lils? Llandudno very occasionaly in my 2 years of YJB

Sometimes used one probably on Park Road when working in Colwyn Bay late 70s/early 80s

Craig Y Don - would it be Victoria Street?

Similar era but I also seem to remember occasionally using 2 chip shops in Rhos. One was in the town, had a big picture of a motorcyclist inside. The other I think would have been the bottom of Church Road.

In more recent times (which would take me to about 2000), I’d probably have chosen Steve’s? Chips somewhere by the tramway for chips in Llandudno and a place operated by a couple of probably Arabic origin for a burger and chips in Conwy.

Also, early second time round, used Enoch’s in the Junction for the odd eat in meal which I seem to remember was very good.

I remember the chip shop in Brooke St back in the 1960s. This was when we first moved to Llandudno and stayed with my grandmother in St David's Place. It was great to stroll down Albert St of an evening and get some fish and chips. They tasted very good indeed.
