stolen from another board ;)
The game is as follows:
1. You can change, add or remove one letter from the previous word to make a new word. You can't shuffle the letters of the word arround or remove a letter and add another in a different location.
2. Names and foreign words are out!
3. Repeating words are frowned upon, but sometimes unavoidable if the thread gets very long. The rule should be that no word should be repeated in 5 adjacent pages.
I'll start it off:

Wrong game - it's not Follow On.
You have to change one letter and leave it in the same position.
E.g. from Glan - if you change the G, the new letter must still be first. If the L then it must still be the second etc.
-
Typographical error - left out a "G" (poor excuse, really)

Gland
Grand

Grand
Still wrong - we started with 4 letters - we now have 5!
Let's move on from say - GRAN
-
Don`t know what you are talking about. Check on past contributions. Plenty of five lettered words.
-
1. You can change, add or remove one letter from the previous word to make a new word. You can't shuffle the letters of the word arround or remove a letter and add another in a different location.

Thanks for that Brumbob

That is AUSTRALIAN - we are in the UK! Aussies have funny ways of doing most things! _))*
And many of the words are of foreign derivation e.g. BURQA which is not in Collins Dictionary and of Eastern origin, being a long enveloping outer garment worn by Muslim women.
