A POST Office branch on the West Shore of Llandudno is set to close temporarily.                 pioneer

The branch, based at the One Stop store at 26 Great Ormes Road, will be shut from April 4 until April 15, a notice on the shop window stated.

The Post Office counter will move to the main shop counter while the branch is closed.

The notice added that all products and services would remain the same, but over longer opening hours.

The new opening hours will be 8am-8pm Monday to Sunday.

The notice read: "We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

"During this period of temporary closure customers may use any convenient Post Office branch."

The closest Post Office sites are located at 101 Mostyn Street, Llandudno, and 169 Conway Road, Llandudno.

Take a look at the coffee hatch that opened on the West Shore!

Coffi and Vinyl opened on March 12, and sells a range of vinyl recordings and music-themed hot drinks, including The Coldplay Coffee (designated ?as boring as the band?)

Re: West Shore Issues..................Public toilets vandalised
« Reply #1382 on: May 02, 2024, 09:05:49 am »
Public toilets in Llandudno have been vandalised ahead of the busy bank holiday weekend. The public toilets on the promenade at West Shore have been deliberately damaged by vandals, rendering them ?out of order? ahead of the Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza this weekend.

The toilets are thought to have been damaged following a spate of vandalism in and around the West Shore area. The damage has prompted some people to blame Conwy County Council on social media.

But Cllr Louise Emery has revealed the damage to the pay-to-use toilets was unforeseen. ?There has been some intentional damage to the toilets in West Shore, damage to the locks on the disabled toilet in particular,?

The police have been contacted, but they have nothing to go on...................    :)

This old nugget again the 2 councillors blamed vandalism before then it was found the locking mechanism was no good. The salt water/ sand doesn?t agree with it.
