2024 Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza - day one highlights
THE Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza enjoyed a joyous return yesterday (May 4) as the 2024 event got underway.

This free three-day event, which celebrates its 40th anniversary next year, takes over the town?s main roads, and includes street entertainment, vintage rides, modern attractions, stall holders, face painting, and tractors and engines.

Highlights from the first day included a Victorian dress competition, musical performances from the George Formby Society, Rock Choir, Llandudno Swing Band and more, and acts such as Mario Morris' Outdoor Magic Experience, Lady Vee (balloon artist), and Dr Diablo's Side Show.

WWII replica vehicle and more at 2024 Llandudno Transport Festival
A WIDE range of vehicles returned to Llandudno today (May 4) to mark the first day of the town?s annual transport festival returns.

Running for more than 30 years, the festival, at Bodafon Fields, is again taking place concurrently with the town?s Victorian Extravaganza.

As usual, there were a variety of exhibitions, including of lorries, tractors and motorbikes, for visitors to immerse themselves in.
