An alarm of some sort has been sounding in the Hoosons Corner shop all day.

Card Outlet in the Victoria Centre has closed. There is a letter on the door with an offcial looking address on it, so I'm guessing they have gone into administration.

Interesting, will have a look tomorrow.  8) They probably got sick of looking at it from their office windows...

Perhaps now CCBC can slap a quick repair notice on Mostyn Estates.     But I guess it'll never happen as Mostyn Estates  have probably got it sewn up beforehand like they did with St George's old school.
I've no trust whatsoever in Mostyn Estates and suspect that there is some financial incentive for them to take back the lease.

I think it has to be good news, as it means something will now happen on the Tudno Castle site. Mostyn Estates have been quite aggressive in buying back the Long leaseholds along Mostyn Street  in recent years, and all the premises acquired have been sympathetically refurbished.

Card Outlet in Colwyn Bay is still open as normal.  Maybe they've just realised there's no point in paying a fortune in rent when Card Factory is thirty seconds walk away?

The O2 shop has now opened in the old TSB on Mostyn St. There are now 6 empty units in the Victoria Centre, by my reckoning.

Jackson Commercial has opened with a new owner at 36a Madoc Street where James Jackson traded successfully for many years.

Commercial Estate Agent, James Jackson, based in Madoc Street, has retired after many years operating in Llandudno:

Hi all, we've been told there is a 24hr Tesco in llandudno, which apparently has a good gluten free range. Where abouts is it ? It will come in extremely useful for us while we are there for a couple of weeks in August. Thanks

You will find Tesco as you come off the A55 towards Conwy.
