What flowers have you got there Hollins? Nice displays of colour.

I like Flowers. Do you grow them yourself? I imagine it would be quite expensive to buy all that lot?

Craig, they are mainly sweet peas with some asters, platycodon and gladioli in the background.

No need to worry about the expense! Husband has grown them all from seed apart from the gladioli (bulbs).

I normally buy Flowers from Tesco. Quite a lot actually as I often displease the missus lot L0L
But I wouldn't know my gladioli from my Wolf out of Gladiators!
I like the really bright coloured ones the best, can't remember what they are called though!

I have done a display of dahlias this week. Not very subtle but nice bright colours for my new friend B2R! ;D
Does no one else do flower arranging? Does anyone enter exhibits for the local shows? It would be great to see the handicraft that must be out there.

Had visitors for lunch today so I made this arrangement with bits from the garden.

I've got the "A team" here this weekend, my 90 year old mum!

Hugo, Mum is 94 now and missing like mad her trips over here.
I have only just taken the xmas wreath down that I made.
The door looked a bit sad so yesterday I made this with some bits from the garden.

Let's hope that it will be safe to lift the restrictions and that your Mum will be able to see you soon. If my memory is correct your Mum has a birthday in April so she can have a special celebration birthday then

A FLORIST in Craig-y-Don is to host wreath-making classes next month.
These are taking place at Scent With Love, 16 Queens Road, in collaboration with Penderyn Distillery, on Saturday, December 3 and 10, starting at 3.30pm.
Each class costs 65 per person, which includes the cost of the wreath, a gin cocktail on arrival, mince pies, tea, coffee and Merlyn Cream liquor.
Craig-y-Don events planned as businesses stay open late on Thursdays
Tickets are available to buy on Scent With Love?s website and/or Facebook page.
The shop will also have a wide selection of Christmas wreaths and posies outside the store for sale from the first week in December until stocks last.
There will also be lots of festive stock available for customers to make their own Christmas decorations.
