That is so fascinating. I love the way most of the men are stood at the edge of the water in their best suits!

Future historians are going to have a field day with the 21st Century. Everything these days is filmed and photographed over and over. But that sort of footage is priceless.

I remember my maternal Grandfather sitting on the beach in a deckchair wearing the full suit, with a waistcoat, tie and jacket. He also had a heavyweight tweed cap to finish the ensemble. This must have been in the early 50s, as he died in 1955.
When you compare that with what you see these days.......oh dear, one extreme to the other !
