Hugo they are just wasters, evidently they have been using peoples gardens as a toilet 😡.   The girls family want her to go home but they don?t want the boyfriend anywhere near them started off with one tent and 3 more have added. Shame they don?t get off their backsides and work.     As for the toilet no doubt it?s the mechanism Again like last time the two councillors blamed vandalism then admitted it was the mechanism in the doors.  😤

Rough sleepers pitch tents near Llandudno beauty spot
They have set up camp near a shelter on West Shore

What on earth are those poor people supposed to do now that the Toilets there are out of action?
Perhaps the Councillor who lives nearby can let them use  their loo

A SEAFRONT hotel in Llandudno has won a major global award after a ?green revolution? cut its carbon footprint by a huge 84 per cent.

The Grade II listed Llandudno Bay Hotel has been honoured at the international Lux Life Travel and Tourism Awards.

As a result of a raft of eco-friendly initiatives at the premises, owners the Everbright Group were crowned Sustainable Luxury Hotel Group of the Year.

The award is the latest in a series of accolades for the hotel, including being hailed as a trailblazer by the Net Zero North Wales Network for showing that investing in green technology made sound business sense as well as being good for the environment.

'Mandatory' speed limiters from July as drivers face new driving law changes
The intelligent speed assistance can automatically slow down a vehicle if a driver is exceeding the speed limit

From July, drivers could be required to have 'mandatory' speed limiters installed in their vehicles as part of new driving law changes. The introduction of mandatory intelligent speed assistance (ISA) systems is set to automatically reduce a vehicle's speed if it exceeds the limit.

This rule change will take effect from July 6, making the safety feature compulsory for all cars. The new regulations, which apply to both the European Union and Northern Ireland, dictate that all cars sold in the UK must come equipped with ISA, irrespective of the manufacturing location.

Local News & Discussion / Re: Everything to do with Colwyn Bay

WORK HAS started on a project to create 54 new energy-efficient homes for older people in Colwyn Bay.

Wales & West Housing is working with local contractors Castlemead Group to develop the Bay View Road site, close to the sea front at Colwyn Bay.

Conwy County Council granted planning permission for the low-carbon housing development in January 2023.

The first stage in the development started in April with the demolition of three terraced houses and four semi-detached older properties, which had been empty for several years.

Typical it takes a serious accident before they take action on previous warnings, there are rumours, those relocated have already started making their way back to the A470.

Llandudno beach has been named 'most disappointing' in the UK
The news won't come as a big surprise to those who've campaigned for a sandy beach

The buck must stop with the Planning Committee of CCBC
