Try Bernards in Craig-y-Don.

I think they only sell paintings.

There used to be a shop opposite the Llandudno Town Hall but I don't know if it's still there.

It was called Paperway but has now closed down, there used to be William's Typewriters too a few years ago where Blacks are now.

;) The Cambridge is run by a Sarah who comes from Deganwy,i think her farther owns the small mall where The Jasmine house chinese is,don;t think the Cambridge has much of a reputation. :(

This could be a 'small world' situation. Is this the Sarah (Hughes, as was) who I worked with in 'The Ritz', 39 Mostyn Street, back in 1979? Her brother was a mate of mine (Steve) at the time.

Tony Johnson, Madoc Street.   THE Independent Cleaners, everything dealt with by the Proprietor.

Just been trying to find out the whereabouts of the Independent Cleaners that you recommend on Madoc Street. The only one I can find on that street is Cleaning World @ 34 Madoc St. Is this the same one?

Think they said in NWWN a couple of weeks ago that it was going to be a shop selling local art.  Sounds a bit like the pottery co-operative at the other end of the street.

There have been a couple of them in recent years, both run by the same lady who has threatened to open several businesses in Upper Mostyn Street, but never actually got them off the ground.

One was on Bodhyfryd Road, (behind Nigel Robert's Newsagents).. the other by the Con Club in Upper Mostyn Street.

Sadly, despite long hours and hard work, they proved to be not viable.

Fruit and Veg is available in Sainsbury's, Marks and Sparks etc....
