I also recognise Huggins as he played later with me in the Maggie Murphy's football team during the early seventies.

I seem to remember you have a twin brother.

Welcome to the forum.

Perhaps, we should have our own section for Deganwy.  D)

If Huggins is Alan Hughes, then I will point out that his father Tom Hughes is in the Topic newspaper cutting, behind the trophy.
Yes I am a twin

Yes, here is Huggins (and me) a few years later, BrianP, with a few more of your former neighbours.

I guess you must have quite a collection of Hotpoint memorabilia with your father being so involved during that period.

Bri, what a fine looking team you were!   :)

Brian P, your collection does seem to contain quite a number of very attractive young ladies!   :)  It's all very interesting.

Quote from above - “Betty Cox, I wonder if it's the same Mrs Cox that lived in Council Street in the 1970's when she was married with children? Her face is the spit of what could be her siblings, Michael, Doreen, etc. (just trying to remember the others)"

The Betty Cox in the above photo was my aunty Betty (Elizabeth). She was the daughter of James (Jim) & Jane Cox (nee Evans) from the Penmaen Road in the Morfa, Conwy. Betty later married Ken Barr and they lived on Sychnant Pass. Sadly she died in 1975 aged just 40, and is buried in St Agnes Cemetery.

Trojan - Her siblings are Victor, Tony, John, Peter, Malcolm & Patricia.

 $good$ Hi Paula.

Yes. Betty was my cousin. She was a beautiful young woman with a sparkling personality and a lovely temperament. My Uncle Jim, Betty's father was warm and generous, pretty much the opposite to his brother, my Dad Johnny Cox - the black sheep.

Heddwch.

Mike.

Hotpoint Social Club on Victoria Drive, Llandudno Junction is the venue for the Sports Day. Here is a picture of the Knobbly Knees Contest, with my father Derek Pritchard on the right, taken around 1960
