I will Dwsi as soon as I can get my husband to scan them in for me.
Did there not used to be a gallery on here? I thought there was a link at the top of the page where you could see all the pictures on the site, but it's not there now.

It's now called 'Photo Gallery' again.  $good$ The Forum software decided to rename it to Media during the upgrade.  :rage:

Fascinating maps, Dwsi, thanks for posting them.  If you have any other old maps I hope you'll post them too.

The attached photo shows a view from 1968 and is looking roughly from where B&Q is now towards the Prom, with the back of the Four Oaks Hotel clearly visible. My question is...what was the building with the red roof? It's roughly where the Swimming Pool is now. What was on the site of the original Swimming Pool before it was built?

It's the football ground where Asda and now Parc Llandudno were built

It must have been taken in the summer - one of Gus Simons' fairground lorries can be seen behind the dark coloured coaches.

$thanx$  Some stuff has been collected today and they come back again tomorrow at about 9am.  I'm hoping the broadband will be working within a day or so and should be a faster speed too D)  Sadly no sea view, but the views from the conservatory across to the little Orme etc are very pleasant!
