It's crazy. They should try using that section of the RTA to target all those idiots driving around town at top speed, instead of focussing on the easy targets yet again.

I saw an unmarked police car with flashing blue lights closlely followed by a poloce van with flashing blue lights at Bog Island this afternoon - can't remember what time but around 3pm-3.30?  They were heading up Mostyn St very quickly!

Re Police action on roof snow.

I try to keep on top of what is happening with the Laws of the Land and this to me is just a bit of opportunism on behalf of the North Wales Police.   I wonder what PC Mike Smith thinks about it?   No doubt such action will make the public more antagonistic towards the Police and reduce cooperation and interest in their welfare.

Moral in the force is rumoured as being low and the Officers employed on such excercises must feel that the motorist is just being persecuted, and realise the backlash that will result.

Why must they prosecute in this case? Surely better to pass on some advice which would be taken on-board by most responsible motorists.  But that solution is too easy, and certainly not cash generating.

I've said for some years that as far as motorists go, with all these dreadful speed cameras etc that the police are just tax collectors and now snow on roofs  :rage:  is half an inch ok or is there a maximum depth allowed? and if you clear it off on to the road will they fine you for littering!

quite often I see the waves crashing on to cars on the promenade between Penrhyn Bay and Rhos on Sea, the police should fine the sea for careless and inconsiderate behavour  L0L

Apparently, milk supplies in Asda are running low as all their milk comes from Yorkshire and tankers have not been able to get to the farms. This is were having local suppliers always pays off!

I also noticed in the Co-op yesterday that they had no sandwiches due to 'extreme weather conditions'!

I cannot confirm this as being true, but years ago the residents of Llanrwst (a market town surrounded by farms) swore that Summerfields milk supplies came from Scotland. It was certainly a large enoiugh lorry to supply hundreds of retail outlets.

Doesn't seem to be any reports from anyone.  I didn't go into town so can't comment.  No doubt the inquest and post mortem will follow in due course!   ΒΆΒΆ##

My wife and I walked into town   about 4pm watched the Samba Band outside the town hall and then stood opposite M&S for the parade. As first time watchers we really enjoyed it. Surrounded by children who also seemed to be enjoying it.  Couldn't quite understand the link between Star Wars and Christmas but hey ho.
