No money and no sense,so that counts me out Hugo but as we seem to be in the top ten places so often why do we fail to attract any one with AMBITION.We have prime sites like Broadway and the Pavilion yet not a snifter of interest, shame, but we are only here for a visit, what about the next generation.
Absolutely right, mate.  $good$

Perhaps I have missed something somewhere but why is the access to the beach along the prom blocked by railings?

It's because all the shingle that was dumped on the beach a few months ago has moved about and needs bulldozing back into place.

Dave, please. It's not "dumped on the beach" or "bulldozing back into place"; it's "carefully and strategically positioned and profiled" and "carefully and strategically repositioned and reprofiled". Let's give our planners and designers the respect they are due. Preferably before the next storm when they'll have to carefully and strategically re-reposition and re-reprofile the whole thing again.

And to be fair: how would they possibly be expected to know that waves and wind would move shingle about like that? It's not as if there's any research available.  Is there?

It'd be interesting to find out the names of the designer and those who approved the design.

I believe we are about to get another micro brewery, with the Great Orme brewery having moved to Builders St i now hear there is going to be another near the Linney Cooper warehouse,i wonder if they need Fester as a taster.
