I was pleased to see this morning that the areas of overgrown shrubbery by the Broadway Hotel have been cleared and a section replanted:

It does seem to resemble a shack, rather than an edifice.

http://www.northwalespioneer.co.uk/news/135496/wales-boss-chris-coleman-to-open-llandudno-fc-s-new-3g-pitch.aspx

"The event is strictly invite only, meaning members of the public are not permitted to attend"

Why???

Big own goal Llandudno FC

You could have got the general public of Llandudno interested and aware of your team, a chance to view the new facilities and no doubt some would have come back and become fans of the team. God knows they need some, what are the attendance nowadays? 100? 150?

It's a big improvement over the Skip by the Sea in Colwyn Bay, but then a heap of manure is better than the skip!

Yesterday Cambrian mentions the paddling pool being built in 1937.
One of my very earliest memories was being a passenger in a car owned and driven by my Father with Mum alongside. It had a battery in what now seems a most stupid place. Outside on a running board on the near side. Anyway sparks must have been flying and the next minute the car was on fire -- or maybe just smoking or smouldering. But the thing I remember best is workmen working on the building of the paddling pool running to us throwing sand over the flames. I was six in 1937 so that's probably about right

If it involves CCBC spending ridiculous amounts of our money on nonsense then yes, it could well be true! Does seem incredibly expensive for a kitchen if it is true!

The only kitchen he's opened recently is the new £170000 revamp at Odettes in London financed by Santander.
If he comes to Colwyn Bay IF! it will likely be a fish restaurant judging by the smell thats begining to pervade.
