It's criminal damage, no matter how you look at it.

In fact a prominent cafe owner on Marine Drive, the name of which will remain anonymous    agreed with me when I spoke to him today.

I would get the paint cleaned off, regardless of the cost, and send the bill to the Cycling club.
They can either pass it to the perpetrator,  or pay at as an incidental cost of the event.

I object to CCBC footing the bill, or should I say I object to ME footing the bill.  &shake&

Just a little extra to add to the spray paint marking debate. You will all no doubt remember the horrific accident in St Georges Place earlier this year, well as I walked into town this morning I couldn't help but notice the Police white spray markings were still clearly visible at the Somerset St. end of the Hotel wall. Just goes to show Spray Paint Markings don't clear themselves up

I've been told it was filming for the next generation of Volkswagen TV adverts - they also filmed going round the Marine Drive.

The advert was in Downton Abbey last night (my wife just watching it on video) ... shows lots of places which I don't know where they are (no doubt someone on here will!), but there's a dog driving a car along the Prom, and another dog driving a convertible around the Marine Drive.  Think there's also a shot taken in Gloddaeth Avenue as well.

Seem to have been quite a few dogs driving around the town - hope they've passed the driving test as they were unaccompanied and no L plates!!!

Excellent DVT,  my eye was not so much drawn to the cars, but I am now seriously considering buying a dog!

Sunday market in Llandudno - great idea! Sunday is a bit of a ghost town at times (though nowhere near as bad as the bay)
This will be great for getting people into town - as long as they live relatively close mind, as the bus service on sunday is appaling.

It seems to me that many people are content to fill Llandudno with, Markets, Winter Fairs, Summer Fairs, Extravaganzas, Car Rallies, Parades, and many other distractions.

Does anyone think that we should have, say, one week end each month where the Town can be given over to  THE PEOPLE, to do what they want to do?

No,a tourist town is there to attract tourists and fill the place so locals can make money, thats the reason many people moved here in the first place,if you want quiet well.

Really liking the idea of having a market in Llandudno! I don't actually think there's enough events going on currently and all these events bring extra people to the town (which can only be good!)

MarkJ you will find there are people in this town who hate to see it busy and the thought of a dirty old market bringing in people, god forbid, but then there are some of us who like seeing the town busy and if we want quiet we can go up Conwy mountain.
