You should have called in Dave as you were so close. You could have helped me feed the Birds (and had a nice cup of Coffee to boot)   :D

Don't forget the Phabstock event is on at the Prom all afternoon. Lots of local bands and acts performing, all proceeds go to Phab. Organised by Val Conwy, who has worked hard on behalf of Phab for many years.

Pictured are local band 'Contagion' performing:

Looks like it! We just drove along the prom in Colwyn Bay and Rhos on Sea, also very busy! Hopefully lots of money coming in to the area!

It is wonderful to see.  $sunny$

More and more people are obviously using their BBC app to check the following day's weather forecast.

What a shame Cafe Cais is shut on a bank holiday meaning all those day trippers are returning to the coach park only to find the toilet shut.

Visitors cannot even visit the toilets in the swimming pool because it is also shut today.

Well will Llandudno learn?  &shake&

Llandudno has come out best of a "worst UK holiday resort" poll.  This may because far more of the people polled have been Brighton than have been to Llandudno?

Blackpool    16.3%
Bournemouth    4.9%
Brighton    39.3%
Llandudno  4.5%
Scarborough  14.3%
Skegness    15.8%
Torquay    4.8%

http://www.realholidayreports.com/strawpoll/default.asp
The fact Rhyl does not appear in the list renders the whole thing invalid, in my view!

The list is made up of holiday resorts so Rhyl wouldn't be eligible for inclusion  ;)

Actually the survey is probably flawed unless all the people surveyed have been to all seven resorts to be able to properly compare them.  I couldn't say whether or not Brighton, Bournemouth, Scarborough or Skegness are better or worse than Llandudno as I've never visited any of those places and whilst I have been to Torquay it must have been 30 years ago so it's probably changed since then.  I'm not even sure I'd say Blackpool was necessarily worse than Llandudno, it's just different so it depends on the circumstances.  The last time I went to Blackpool was for a stag day which was far better than it would have been if it had been in Llandudno (you can't beat going on the Big One at the Pleasure Beach after an afternoon on the beer  ZXZ) but it's not somewhere I'd want to stay more than a couple of days.

I've been staying with family in Lincoln over the Bank Holiday and visited Skegness on Saturday. It really is the pits of the world. Think Scarboro is great but haven't visited in about five years

P.s.  Don't forget to add on 3% stamp duty for those over £250K.......... :o

Having watched this building being built more or less brick by brick and put up with the noise of the crane whining and the dust for 12 months, curiosity got the better of us and I applied for a brochure.
We were the same Yorkie, you could have a nice little bungalow with far less rules and regulations for a lot less. I enquired if pets were allowed and was told one small dog in certain flats . The other thing which amused me was the fact that the launderette room was situated at the front of the building, next to the guest suite. So you'd have to fold your smalls in full view of the passers by and the washers would be running next to where the guest room is.
Some kitchens don't have windows, but have 'natural light sun tunnels' Can anyone enlighten me as to what they are?
The application for a brochure asked for many details which I was unwilling to give, so we probably wouldn't meet up to the standards stated !
Haven't been round yet, it is appointment only, so I must make one .
