Someone who doesn't love Llandudno. Graffiti on the former Ethel Austin shop:

yes dave her points are valid ,but she has been a councillor for years so its a bit late for her to spout off now

She's been talking about it for years. When she started the Extravaganza she was also trying to get the council to mount a concerted attempt to win the Wales in Bloom awards by increasing the numbers of flower beds.

CCBC's latest initiative to prevent tourism has been implemented - dumping stones all over the beach...or are they actually removing them?!

If you look at the jetty in the background of your photo Dave you can see a clear sandy path leading to it. That is where the piles of stones have come from. It will help to get visitors onto the motor boat at low tide.

I was sort of hoping they were clearing all the rocks in this area to create a larger area of sandy beach...

Massive crowds at the Extravaganza this afternoon. A pleasure to chat to several Forum members, as well.  $good$

Oh dear that looks hideous. I was going to attend tomorrow (Bank Holiday Monday) but if that's what one can expect I won't bother.

I think I'll head the other direction and visit the Welsh Mountain Zoo at Colwyn Bay instead.

Buff, have a look, I'm not over keen on large crowds, but myself and Erindoors had a great time today, no problem moving about or parking and you simply have to see the excellent Mr Alexander's travelling show (on Bog Island) a true entertainer!  D)

He means North Western Gardens Buff. Bog Island is the local name--so called because of the underground toilets situated there. :o

Mr. Alexander is excellent, a true Showman of the old school. His shows are at 11, 1 and 3. Well worth seeing.  $good$

Parking has been at a premium today!

Never remember seeing cars parked on grass verges such as Gloddaeth Avenue, St Mary's Road and outside the day centre on Trinity Avenue before!

Keep watching the same cars drive round and round looking for a space. They were even parked on corners round here !

We parked by the Honda Garage at about 9.45am, plenty of spaces then, naturally much harder later! We drove to the Ball and Boyd sale room in the middle of the afternoon to pick up a statue, again no problem  D)

Today was the busiest I've ever seen it at the Extravaganza.Tomorrow will be interesting, how will no Prom Day in Colwyn Bay affect it?
