Fester pointed the rubbish out to us earlier.

All the white blobs look like goats from his kiosk.

One question on an unrelated subject.

Why weren't the donkeys out this weekend?

The tide was out during the afternoons and there were plenty of small children about.

Yes... the fly tipping on the Gt Orme, is a disgrace.
A load of white worktops, MDF doors etc, on the steep cliffside facing the pier.
These things will never reach the sea (who would want them to?) ... and it will be a devil of a job to recover this rubbish, not to mention dangerous and costly.

Also, further round at Pigeons cove (I think its called), there are old mattresses and suchlike on the beach.

Those who did this belong on the SCUM thread, not this one.

The favourite dumping ground for Cowboy Builders who can't be bothered (or pay) for the Council's tipping facilities.  A few years ago there was one particular local builder who seemed to think it was his divine right to tip off the Orme and would even do it in broad daylight!  He got taken to task eventually.  Most of the rubbish dumped can be traced back, if the council can be bothered to carry out an investigation, and the perpetrators brought to book.

On the other hand it could be regarded as a piece of "Sculture" by one of the modern day artists!  :D

I can't see any sign of the donkeys in their usual field at the top of Wyddfyd road so I'm assuming they are not yet back from their winter holidays in Cheshire.

Just had a lovely walk along the Promenade, a very calm night with all the lights of the Bay twinkling - beautiful.

None in the 'donkey field' near the hospital either.

A reminder that several roads in central Llandudno are closed 7pm-7am tonight for resurfacing.

Don't need photos ! The noise was enough. I pity the poor people staying in the hotels on South Parade !

I was thinking that myself when I saw the large sections of road that had the top layer of tarmac removed for resurfacing. A very noisy process. Is it better to do it at night and avoid the disruption of road closures during the day?

Goodness knows, but I could hear it easily at 1am-- it kept me awake, as did the diverted traffic, but the job needed doing and we should benefit from it, but I would be somewhat annoyed if I had coughed up for a quiet break and landed in the middle of that.
I only hope they do a good job, as the roundabout at the bottom of Arvon Avenue has had to be redone twice recently, as the newly laid patch all came up again.

I see that another metal bracing frame has been fitted to the doorway at the corner of Broadway Boulevard that has the large crack running up the building above it. That's one serious structural problem.

Took Archie for a drink of petrol yesterday and both my OH and I commented that the place looked somewhat unsafe !

Certainly a lot of activity around town this evening with the resurfacing work, it must be costing a fortune.  I noticed that the proof reader for the temporary signs must be on holiday:
