Not a sign of either of the two windfarms, Rhyl Flats and North Hoyle, on your second photo. I am sure that if they had been visable they would be showing up

Well folks it's time for Tosh to sling his hook.
I am going back to my place of birth 90 miles away, it isn't that I don't like you all it's just that duty calls plus a little bit of homesickness
thrown in for good measure.
I have really enjoyed taking part in the Forum and especially enjoyed finding and providing the Trade Directory information, I hope that it is useful for anyone researching their past.
I especially enjoyed spending a good hour with Merddin Emrys and his wife at the Rest and Be Thankful on that Sunday afternoon a few weeks ago.
Judging by our conversation, we are kindred spirits.
I even got to meet Fester who took a break from counting his money to chat amiably for a few minutes.
I wish you all the best for the future and thank you for your time.
Tosh

Cheers Tosh, and good luck.
You can keep on the Forum from 90 miles away you know?

As I understand it, the internet extends almost as far as Yorkshire these days!

Fester, do you mean that they have electricity in Yorkshire nowadays?
I don't think Staffordshire has caught up yet but we'll see.
Cheers

Thank you Llandudno for a wonderful firework display and thank you the Seahorse restaurant for a delicious monkfish wrapped in parma ham on a sun dried tomato risotto, mmmmm.........

I agree Hollins, was a good display! Nice to see so many thousands of people the whole length of the promenade enjoying themselves.   $cool$

Was it simply my impression or did the display take longer to really get going this year?  I liked the use of relay loud speaker vans to have the music and commentary all round the prom and the finale was excellent.
