Fester and I saw this odd chap on the Prom by the Cenotaph. He was dancing away, waving his tambourine about and either singing or shouting. Was he performing or just a touch loopy?

I maintain that he was definitely insane... apart from the tambourine and the ridiculous prancing,   he had an Elvis T-shirt under a tweed jacket,  and the worst comb-over I have seen in 20 years.

He definitely should not have been out on his own.

We must have out there about 15 minutes before you. We had just been for a fabulous meal at East for the second week running.(visits home from 2 sons = 2 excuses for taking them out for a meal!)  I recommend the crispy duck in Plum Sauce

I think he was just a happy chappy - pity more people aren't like this, it would brighten up an otherwise troubled World!

Maybe I should get out there with my Kilt and bagpipes!    L0L

Another glorious day, and an opportunity for me to highlight the shameful situation of the LLANDUDNO letters in Happy Valley that are viewed by tens of thousands of people every year from the Pier covered with concrete instead of colourful flowers.

I missed them, unfortunately, as I was on the boat trip that goes round the Bay. I did see all the Scooters that were by the Cenotaph.

Boat Trip to Little Orme:
1) A look at Villa Marina from the sea.
2) Close up look at the Elephant's head on the Little Orme
3) Angel Bay from the sea

A tale of two towns....

Two photos are attached to this post; the first one shows the seafront gardens at Llandudno this week. The second shows the seafront gardens at another seaside resort, Eastbourne, this week. Can anyone spot any discernible difference in the effort the respective local councils make?  _))*

Embarrasing really :-[  I wonder how the two towns parks and gardens budgets compare?

This Triumph Vitesse had very shiny paint!

There was also a trailer enthusiasts meeting going on (er indoors made me put this on! I think it was something to do with the sailing dingys  )
