Thanks Llechwedd - I've only really seen it through the trees.  I love buildings like these.  I love the one of Pwllcwrhon hall too Dave.  When I was writing up the Chronicles of Thomas Roberts (which is nearly finished) this building was mentioned in connection with Sir David Erskine and I thought at first it was, or had been situated in Conwy.  So that answered that question too.

The inside of the Lady Forresters was very impressive when it was the North Wales Medical Centre, very elegant decor.

This was the dining hall when it was Lady Forester's:

It's a great building; I went for a nose round it a few years ago:
It looks like that awful stone cladding in your photo  :-\

I read in the Pioneer today that St. Dunstans have just recieved £2.5 million from RBL.

I can't believe ther're only 41 bedrooms in there!

The seagulls are happily munching their way through another batch of dead starfish that have been washed up on the beach:

What's with all these dying fish, Sardines, Trout etc.  I know they've given various excuses but there has to be something going on.
My conspiracy theory is under water testing somewhere.

Many species of sea fish are credited with committing Hari Kari and the starfish is just one of them.  Everything from whales to spratts do it.  It is just the lemming theory, one jumps over the cliff so they all follow.  Daft innit?

Please don't think I'm taking the proverbial, Yorkie, although I am giggling, are you saying that all those 100s of tons of fish in Australia (I think it was) committed suicide?

Without wishing to appear pedantic - Yes!

Mass suicide, not exactly unknown amongst the human race. ZXZ

This was January 2011.  Experts say these two events were not connected, I can't believe it was a coincidence?

A SECOND mysterious disaster killed 100,000 fish on the day 5,000 birds dropped dead from the sky in the same US state, it was revealed yesterday.

Shoals of drum fish corpses littered a 20-mile stretch of the Arkansas River and washed up near Ozark city.

A tugboat operator found them on New Year’s Eve at the same time that flocks of blackbirds started smashing into the ground at the Arkansas town of Beebe, 125 miles away.

There was the Australian Sardines, 100s of tons, then the Trout in the UK only last week. Plus two lots of suicidal Starfish!   :o

I know that mass suicide amongst humans has gone on in religious sects, are there any other instances.  I'm interested now

We had a similar problem down in Redondo Beach last week.

The fish were packed into the harbour like........sardines.
