Having said that, I don't think there is much gets past her...

:)Just googled Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza to see what comes up and it is quite amazing to see a steam train coming in on the Saturday from the West Midlands,on the Monday a diesl hauled special from Sheffield, coaches from as far as kettering,Goole, all advertising they are coming into Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza, love it or loathe it there is one thing it does and that is keeping our town in the tourist spotlight ,which of course is the only reason our town was built. 8)

don't forget the ghost train is also coming

shame the extravaganza is on that weekend, wouldn't mind the train trip  :P

Pulled by these two steam engines and what a lot of pollution they make,
quite reasonably priced compared to the ugly diesel from Sheffield and only 5 minutes up the road from me.

There was more gunge coming out of those engines than from the power station in the background.   I can still remember those steam trains going past Maesdu Golf Club and setting fire to the embankments and gorse bushes.

Found out the Alliance Chemist (Formally Moss Chemist) on the corner of Gloddeath St. and Upper Mostyn Street is to close for good in mid April. It appears that now Boots have bought up all the little Chemists, they have too many outlets and don’t need it any more. I wonder what sort of restaurant that will turn into.     Z@@

Yes, was told that in confidence by an employee a week or two ago. Trouble is what are all the older folk at this end of town going to do for their medical supplies?

Yeah the guy who owns the place is opening himself for the three days over the weekend.  Friday - Sunday.  He may have a local fella interested in the lease.  I hope he does well.

Couldn't agree more about the Crocus displays, they look fantastic and nice to think that Spring is finally here!  For all the complaints that we all make from time to time about CCBC, this they should be congratulated on! :)
