I think it was last year when I first saw the goats wandering about the area where I live, it was nice to see them close up, but then their visits increased, now this year they are spending most evenings around the Gloddaeth/Oval area, with the resulting damage and mess, in my opinion something needs done, someone needs to accept responsibility for these animals, before it gets out of hand, this herd will only get bigger, and the youngsters will accept the easier pickings in town, as the norm, they need to be returned and cared for on the Orme, ie supplementary feeding as an incentive.
The article below, is treating the situation lightheartedly,............... "cheeky visitors" ...... " helped themselves to shrubbery" ......."even visited a local primary school" ........ " mischief about town, holding up traffic, playing in the streets and raiding gardens for snacks."......... "no qualms about holding up traffic as they enjoy a stroll around town"............ "embraced their celebrity status and seem happy to be photographed" .................... "But on the whole., they seem to be having a wonderful time in Llandudno"
Llandudno's Great Orme goats have been on another cheeky adventure - here's what they got up to
They've stopped
traffic, got involved in fights and have even been spotted on the
school run this time around!
It's been a few weeks
since the herd of Great Orme goats last invaded Llandudno.
But it seems our little friends have returned and have been spotted wandering the streets of the town.
The Great Orme goats - a breed known as Kashmiri goats - normally live up in the hills of the headland.
But following their well publicised excursion down to the tourist hot spot back in March, it seems the furry rogues had that much fun they've come back for another adventure.
This time around the cheeky visitors were seen exploring the local area.
They also helped themselves to shrubbery and even
visited a local primary school.
