I note that one of Mostyn Streetís original disused cast iron lampposts has been removed from outside the Pound Bakery. Hopefully, it will reappear after repairs. The lighting along Mostyn Street is very poor in places, the crossing/pavement outside M&S is in almost darkness at night.

Three major firework displays and bonfire nights across North Wales have been cancelled due to concerns over coronavirus rates and regulations.

Organisers of the displays that were set to take place in Amlwch, Beaumaris and Denbigh have all confirmed that their respective events have been called off for this year due to reasons pertaining to safety and Covid-19.

It marks the second year in a row where the towns' firework displays have been cancelled after all major displays and bonfire nights were called off last October due to the pandemic.

I think this plane was clearing out the chimneys between West and North shores, no idea of the ship, and just in case you do not have the link, this is handy for identifying vessels,  it is showing a large number of ships sheltering from the approaching storm, at the moment/

Update on above...

The reason 14 ships are anchored off the coast of Anglesey - and why some have been there for days
Some of them were due to arrive at their ports over the weekend

A dozen of them are container ships that have been stationed in the Irish Sea off Anglesey's north-east coast for several days.

The vessels range in size from the 62,000 ton Eagle Hamilton tanker which left Ingleside in the USA on September 17 to the 1,900 ton cargo ship Amadeus Aquamarijn.

Some of them were due to enter the Port of Liverpool over the weekend and have been held back due to the weather conditions.

A large RAF plance flew over town yesterday on it's way from Bize Norton but flight tracker didn't give a destination.

As for the Navy ship the other day, it must have had it's transponders turned off so as to remain invisible on my marine traffic app !
