Many Thanks to Dave and Ian for setting this up again.I am hoping to get more local officers involved so that there are representatives on here for each area within the "Three Towns". Please feel free to post any questions or issues you would like answering in the Discussion thread and i will pose the question to whichever Officer covers the area in which you live.

We will endeavour to answer all questions and issues honestly and openly and as quickly as possible usually at the end of our shifts or in our off duty time.

For any matters which you feel are sensitive please send me a personal message.

Worthy of immediate note is the recent rise of break ins to Vehicles in the Deganwy and Llandudno Junction area.Residents are urged to make sure that all windows and doors are shut and locked, nothing of any value should be left on display, alarm or/and immobiliser activated. All common sense stuff really but worth double checking when parking your vehicle for the night. One of the common methods used by Car Criminals is checking the windscreen for the circular suction marks left by Sat Navs and then breaking into the car to find the Sat Nav on alot of occasions hidden under the seat or in the glovebox. It is definitely worth dismantling the sat nav, taking it out of the car and give the windscreen a wipe so there are no visible marks.

Its Good to be back

Police are urging people to look at their home security following a spate of burglaries in the Rhos-on-Sea area.

The past three months has seen an increase in reported house burglaries in and around Rhos-on-Sea.

In a bid to prevent opportunist thieves, police want to encourage the public to ensure they review their security and keep doors and windows locked.

Inspector Ian Verburg said: "Some arrests have been made and investigations are on going. We are working hard to disrupt offenders, to bring them to justice and thus reduce offences.”

He added: “As well as having specialist investigators working on the offences reported, additional patrols are being carried out in the area."

Police would also urge anyone witnessing any suspicious activity in the Rhos-on-Sea area to contact them on 101, or 0845 6071001 (Welsh line), 0845 6071002 (English line) or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

There has been a recent increase in Burglaries of outhouse, garden sheds and garages in our area. Please make sure your sheds/garages are locked at night and any valuables (particularly bicycles) should be kept out of view.If you witness any suspicious activity around neighbours garages/sheds, please be sure to call Police as soon as possible. If the person is there at the time, it is advised that you call 999.If you have seen someone acting suspiciously but has now left the area, Use 101.

With regards to the door to door questionnaires, anyone living in the Gogarth Ward should by now have received a newsletter from Inspector Ian Verburg which details our plans to address the issues raised in the questionnaires.Feedback was invaluable and overall was positive but with some valid points and information for the Neighbourhood Policing Team to follow up.Many Thanks to all those who took the time to complete the forms.

Just a quick message to let you all know that from today (Friday 3rd February) i am no longer the local Bobby for Craig y Don, West Shore or the Great Orme and have taken over as the Community Beat Manager for Llandudno Junction.
If anyone living in Llandudno Junction is on here, i would really like to hear your thoughts on any issues you feel need addressing as a priority.
