Sorry Bri, only just seen your question. Yes, it is the runway at Liverpool airport.

No prizes for guessing where she has popped up now!    ;D

Yes, thanks, it is a lovely temperature at this time of year Hugo.

It has been foggy every morning and it looks very eerie with the buildings poking out of the mist. This is my view this morning but here is a much better one taken by Sheikh Hamdan. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A4lagXsAAuo&feature=youtu.be

I saw an article in the Daily Mirror yesterday about the mist and hope that you weren't out in a car then.    According to the Mirror there were 107 crashes and 1,062 call outs because of the thick cloud.         ^*^0        &shake&

Hopefully there weren't too many of these in those crashes!

Nice here....
Being negative only makes a difficult journey more difficult. You may have been given a cactus, but you don't have to sit on it.

A bit of sad news for those who have visited Malta.......

Malta's famous Azure Window rock arch has collapsed into the sea after heavy storms.
Prime Minister Joseph Muscat said the news was "heartbreaking".
A study in 2013 said that while erosion was inevitable, the structure was not in imminent danger of collapsing, the Times of Malta reports.
The popular limestone arch on Gozo island was featured on the first episode of the HBO series Game of Thrones and in several films.

It also played a major part in the Disney live adaptation of Popeye, with Robin Williams.  The quirkiest film ever made, possibly, but with fantastic scenery.

The view from my room is actually not that auspicious, it's a fire escape, because it's a rear room.
But, given that I'm in Rome everything else here really makes up for that, and more..
I've never been here before, it's breathtaking but they do sell some 'questionable' brands of beer... see below!
