I've just been watching a recording of a TV programme  Michael Portillo's train journey through Switzerland and it was great to watch.   I can understand why Hollins loves the place so much.     $good$

Yes, we watched that too Hugo.
I like those programmes and I think Portillo has found his niche in that job.

I was glad of Hugo's quiz and the forum posts today for a little bit of light relief along with my crochet as it hasn't stopped snowing since we arrived.
Highest temperature so far was minus 7, lowest minus 14 degrees.
Minus 9 at the moment.
Hope you all survived the big waves a few days ago.

Nice photos Hollins,   I was wondering where you were and thinking that it's a while since you last had a holiday, last year in fact!          ;D

Enjoy your break but don't bring the snow back with you.   Hope that your Mum is making a good recovery after the fall.

Yes, thanks for thinking about my mum Hugo.
My sister is in charge for a few days. She lives near her but mum is coping well and goes to the fracture clinic tomorrow for a check up. She is hoping to get rid of the sling but I think it might be another week yet.

Ha! You read my mind Hugo. I am drinking one right now......cheers!

The scenery looked amazing today when the sun came out. It didn't feel too cold when the sun was out but it is minus 13 again at the moment and falling.

Here are a few pics. The first one was where they held the World Cup Grand Slalom a couple of weeks ago.
