Columbo/Peter Falk

Gutted Columbo is dead.   :(  I loved Columbo.......my favourite Tv detective.  Loved his old car his Basset Hound and the elusive Mrs Columbo even liked his ski wiff eyes.  There was nothing better than watching Columbo in the afternoon.

Seriously, he was great, one of my faves too. Looks like this time, there really won't be 'just one more thing'.

even liked his ski wiff eyes.

Falk's right eye was surgically removed when he was three because of a retinoblastoma; he wore a glass eye for most of his life.

Peter Falk remembered on the weekly BBC Radio 4 programme which records the lives of those in the news that have recently left us. Comes in at about 14 mins.

BBC iPlayer - Last Word: 01/07/2011

(In fact, many personalities appreciated on 3TF are remembered in the archive of 'Last Word' going back up to 2 years...)
