        I have been away for the last few days and when I returned I logged into "Recent Posts" to catch up on the previous week's posts, but I could only access the previous 10 pages (100 posts), spread over the last 3 days. How do I go back further to access the rest of the pages posted (back up to Sunday 12th October) since I went away?

How do I go back further to access the rest of the pages posted (back up to Sunday 12th October) since I went away?

In theory, the 'show unread posts since last visit' link (top LH side) will show you the most recent post in each topic that's had any posts at all since you last logged in. Since it only shows you the most recent, as soon as you get to a topic where there's been a post, you then need to use the page numbers (top LH side) to go back as many pages as you wish, until 12th October shows up.

There was a BT outage the other night. That might have caused a few issues. In our 'Really Useful Links' section there's a link where you can insert the URL you're trying to reach:

http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/

That can tell you if it's just your end or a problem with the site.

Something happened with our hosting people, which is why the place went offline for a few hours. It reappeared for a short while before going down again. If I had to guess, it would be that they had a server issue and had to implement a major restoration, which could explain why things only reappeared in bits and bobs.
