    I'm not about to get into forum politics.

    I thought I should just point out that OSCAR wearing his/her Twitter hat has just tweeted about two of our forum members, he/she called them two of the forums finest.

   I'm not going to get involved and certainly not going to reprint it, even if it is only 140 characters

Moderators please note - At the moment it seems that I could MODIFY all the posts on the GOODBYE THREAD should I wish to do so.  I discovered this when I clicked modify instead of quote.

Also is there an easy way to get messages to you?

It very nearly is, try adding an image. Just click on 'add image to post' (above the text box) and a pop up box appears, you just select the image and it is automatically resized etc. The only problem at the moment is that the displayed image is too small - I'm seeing how to increase that.

That feature wasn't reliable, so I've binned it. I've replaced it with a built in image resizer, so you can upload larger images (subject to max size of 500k per photo)and they will automatically be re-sized to display correctly on the Forum. This image was originally 900x600 but was resized down to fit the Forum automatically:

With annoying regularity, (every minute or so) the screen freezes, neither the cursor or keyboard are operational for the next 60 seconds or so.

I have to emphasise that neither problem is encountered whilst using any other site. Strange.

I think I may have fixed this problem (an errant piece of software), if anyone still encounters the freezing problem that Fester describes, could they post on here please.

That worked, a pic of the classic car show at St Asaph. On the 21st April. I'll test it from the pc, but bigger size pics!

Deep Joy! that was around a 3.6Mb pic automatically resized!         It's a stunning Aston Martin DB5 at the classic car show at Arley Hall yesterday.
