You just need to ensure you tick the box to ALLOW USERS TO E-MAIL ME.
The facility will then show up just under your name with any posts you make.
You see the small envelope over to the left now.
Hover your cursor over it with your mouse to see Email.

I do not think this will make any difference to the legal responsibility of the site owners as the mail will be set up using a template on the site and the routing will be via the normal hosting company and its procedure.    :(

Better disable that feature as well then!

Any more disabling, and this Forum will qualify for the paralympics, and a badge for free parking!

The thread title includes queries,so here is one. Every time any of us clicks on to the forum we see a series of views of this area, the CB pier, the Albion etc.
Ive been looking at it most days for the last three years, but never really studied it until today. So,my query. The vast troupe of soldiers, where is this?  At a glance I had always assumed it was in Conwy by the Police Station. But looking as close as the couple of seconds it shows I cannot see any sign of the top arch, and in any event all those troupes would have a job to fit through. Is it Conwy, and,if not, where is it?

I don't see these pictures as I stay permanently signed in and land on the Forum Index page when I go to the Forum.   :D

Me too Yorkie.
On the rare occasions that I access the Forum via my iphone, I see those photographs and for a fleeting moment I think I have landed on the wrong site.

Last night Fester emailed me to say that several posts from Friday evening had vanished, yet at the time I could still see them! This morning I have a look and they have vanished! What is happening?

I've had a good look round the Forum to see what is missing, but as it's isn't there, I don't know what I'm looking for!    ;D   Any clues?     ZXZ

I can't help with whatever posts are missing, but why you saw them was the browser cache still retained them.  There's an option in all browsers to 'clear cache'.

I've just looked in the Log Files and no posts have been deleted. What were the posts about?

There were some about photography, a couple about Fester's plans for new year, about 6 or 7 I think, all very odd!

I recall one or two of them but I've no idea where they have gone. A blip with the server maybe.

So someone or something has managed to hack in to the forum and steal posts undetected! Sinister forces at work!  :o ;D

The most likely explanation is a server glitch.
