Fundraising makes a vital contribution to the running costs of St David’s Hospice. £10 spent on our Hospice Christmas cards can buy aromatherapy oils for Hospice therapy sessions and £500 in sponsorship money would provide on-going training for 5 nurses.

St David’s Hospice Fundraising Department is responsible for organising events, and for co-ordinating community initiated events. « Reply #3 on: January 03, 2012, 03:37:36 pm »
Circus Starr’s Winter Tour Comes To TownCircus Starr is proud to announce their indoor ‘Winter Tour’ which begins this January. As part of the 19 date tour the all new show will arrive in Llandudno in support of St David’s Hospice.
With music and costumes galore, Circus Starr will entertain all the family with their sensational international artistes and fun filled show at Llandudno’s Assembly Rooms on Thursday 26th January 2012.
Circus Starr’s unique Community Interest ethos is to raise thousands of pounds for local charities from the advance sales of tickets to local businesses. These tickets can then be donated to local community groups who otherwise would not get the chance to enjoy the magic of circus.
With this kind support from local businesses, in 2011 Circus Starr donated £1,345,000 worth of tickets to UK communities.
Witness hilarious comedy sequences from Circus Starr’s clown whose side splitting routines will keep everyone entertained from the youngest to the eldest in the audience.
Get ready for surprises aplenty with our amazing artistes who have travelled the globe entertaining with their world class acts. They will have you sat on the edge of your seats as they display agility, power and poise.
Circus Starr Director Neville Wilson said “We are delighted with our winter programme for 2012; we are dedicated to bringing laughter, smiles and entertainment to our audiences as well as enabling local causes to continue with their essential projects. We are convinced this year will be a resounding success.”
So get ready to be filled with warmth on winter’s coldest days as the ‘Circus with a life changing purpose’ comes to town!
Circus Starr, ‘Winter Tour 2012’ will be entertaining Llandudno for one day only – Thursday 26th January 2012 at Assembly Rooms, Llandudno Town Hall, with two shows at 4.45pm & 7pm.
