Hi Miriam,
There are some gorgeous felt things around now. I have never tried felting. It would be great to see some of your work. Why don't you put some photos on here?
I bought this felt bag and purse recently in Switzerland but it is designed by a Danish company and made in Nepal!

I'll get some photos sorted and put them on the forum, never done it before so may take a few attempts .....felting is very easy to do and very addictive. There will be some of my work at the exhibition if you're passing pop in.

Oh WOW ! Hollins--- you are famous.
Just called at the shop and Angela is about to get cracking sewing onto the jute bags. A lady has just ordered 16-- all with your crocheted flowers on !!! I didn't offer, as I am still turning out Poppies as fast as I can, also it kills your fingers the jute is so rough.

That is good news but poor Angela again. I popped in on Tuesday with a bag of things mum had made including some of these felt Xmas trees.
I have found a cheap supplier of the glitter yarn, Hollings Mill in Bradford!
I bought this mixed bag so that I could make some more of the glittery crochet flowers if you think that is a good idea.

That is amazing. Did you make all the individual components first?
