Oh dear-- at least it shouldn't weigh much to post.
Oh no, your things certainly didn't get chance to gather dust-- especially the lacy crotcheted flowers, they have been made into brooches, hair slides and sewn onto shopping bags ! ;D

I think you have some competition for your brooches Nemesis! There were some nice bags in this shop too.

Sorry to be tardy in posting a reply Hollins, but our internet died on us last Thursday afternoon and we have only just got back'on line' today.

Yes-- those were the ones, and the bags look lovely.

Our daughter has been knitting baby blankets with hoods which have ears in one corner and they have proved very popular among her friends. She made the first one for my Great Granddaughter and it snowballed from there !I was up there last Wednesday for the day and she showed me all kinds of things which she has made-- woolly mammoth toys, baby all in ones and lovely baby chunky jumpers.

I am relieved that they were the ones as I have been busy making another batch.
I have been buying all sorts of interesting yarns some of which is the glittery stuff. I thought they might go down well with Xmas coming up.
I was so interested in trying the loopy yarn in the second photo that I nearly missed my stop on the train!
Will drop them off at the shop next week.

Thanks again Hollins for the huge bag of flowers. True to my word I got more safety pins and managed to put them onto 20 of them ready for the Christmas Fayre in Colwyn Bay. Hopefully it will be better than last year 'cos poor Angela ( you met her yesterday) was standing on some soggy cardboadr in about 2" of water. I did no more than march into Morrisons when I called and obtain 3 fresh boxes for her to have something dry to stand on. She always seems to get bad luck when she is anywhere in Colwyn Bay, last year she was selling Christmas Cards in the Bay Centre and had no one to relieve her for a 'comfort break' Thus in desperation she had to borrow a trolly from Morrisons, load all her goods into it, take it to the loo and re-set the stall afterwards. So if anyone is in the bay, take pity on her and mind the stall for 5 mins !!!

As far as I know Nov 8th to 12th in Colwyn Bay. Don't take this as gospel, as it still has to be confirmed. Will post again when I am sure.

I'm a textile & mixed media artist. Working mainly in felt, stitch and printing. I'm teaching textiles for Coleg Harlech at the moment.
There's a really good exhibition coming up with the Embroiderers Guild called "Continuous Thread" on the 1st and 2nd November, well worth going to have a look. It's come a long way since stitching flowers on a table cloth, and they have wonderful homemade cakes !!!!
