THE BRYN Y MAEN SHOW
« on: May 04, 2022, 03:52:50 pm »
THE BRYN Y MAEN show is back this month after a three-year break due to Covid-19.

The exhibition, set to take place from 10am-5pm on May 21, showcases vintage machinery and tools to demonstrate old crafts and help people to reminisce about days gone by.

Having started in 1976, the event was held until 1981 in the Church field before ending.

It was resurrected in 2017, and until 2019 proved immensely popular, with up to 800 visitors a year until the Covid-19 pandemic put the event on hold.

Now the event will return to its original fields at Bryn-y Maen Farm, and will include activities like ploughing with horses, cart rides for children, wheel changing, Fawnog, rope making and sheep shearing.

Vintage cars, sheep dog handling, a scarecrow parade, and model engines will also feature.
