Sorry about that Llandudnotrust but we are few on the ground and coming home from work and then having to chase people and things around sometimes things get missed,we just ain;t got the eager volunteers.

This comment requires me to make a further observation.  Why is there a dearth of enthusiastic volunteers?  If the Extravaganza is of great benefit to the town, where are the people who consider it as such, and are capable and willing to give the enterprise their time?

Or is there a simpler explanation?   ££$

Only hope they are not going to say anyone pushing a bike in the parade will have to ride on it

I could probably wangle you an Electric bike for a little bit of publicity for the supplier!   *cycle*

Hi Wrex,   After reading past posts, you have my admiration and respect, from experience it's always the few who end up, time after time, doing the work, and burning out,  also volunteers are a difficult group to handle, time factors etc.
My own experience ended, with getting in a paid manager and organiser which turned out very well, for us.
From reading the previous posts, I don't know if this could be funded, a lot feel they pay enough already, but thinking along those lines, I followed up on Truro's example as mentioned in the  Xmas lighting section, I'll post the link, but they have to be read in conjunction, if nothing else it leaves a lot for discussion.
this position would be private not council.
