Anneelaine,   the registration of deaths etc was made compulsory in 1837 so I don't know for certain if they will be able to issue certificates before that date but it's probably unlikely
Those records prior to 1837 would be Church Records and again those are in Conwy Archives
Have you checked with the Archives?      The records you want are the Burial Indexes and Parish records

Right Hugo, I will do that, Bit worred about going to  Conwy Archives. got OCD lol, so need to clean before I go in lol,
