John Delacoe ..............Great Orme Llandudno
« on: May 06, 2020, 10:42:45 am »
I did not know this gentleman, but possibly others might.

A grieving family have paid tribute to a "wonderful gentleman" who died after contracting coronavirus in hospital.
John Delacoe was transferred to Llandudno Hospital after an operation on a fractured hip, following a fall.

The 88-year-old retired refrigerator engineer developed a wound infection and later caught coronavirus.
He died at the hospital on April 25.

Mr Delacoe was born in 1931 in Llandudno and was one of three sons.
His family revealed he grew up exploring the beauty of the Great Orme, where he lived his entire life.

In his early 20s, he began training as a refrigeration engineer and went on to work in the trade for more than 45 years.
