Another four people have died from Covid-19 in North Wales, according to Public Health Wales.

The latest fatalities mean that 1,027 people have now died from the virus in the Betsi Cadwaladr area.

Nationally, six new deaths were recorded across Wales - including the four in North Wales - bringing the total to 5,837.

Meanwhile, there were 2,430 new cases of Covid-19 recorded across Wales, with 471 of those found in the Betsi Cadawaldr University Health Board area.

Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 63,720 cases of coronavirus found in North Wales.

Betsi Cadwaladr as a whole: 471 new cases - total 63,720

Anglesey: 56 new cases - total 4,279
Conwy: 82 new cases - total 9,453
Denbighshire: 64 new cases - total 9,459
Flintshire: 139 new cases - total 15,992
Gwynedd: 75 new cases - total 7,612
Wrexham: 55 new cases - total 16,925

Across Wales, there have now been 2,396,636 first doses of the coronavirus vaccine given out while 2,213,459 people have now been double-jabbed.

Infection rate for every 100,000 people in each area for the seven days (week up to Sep 18):
Anglesey: 405.5 (down from 418.3)
Conwy: 612.6 (up from 611.8
Denbighshire: 530.8 (up from 522.5)
Flintshire: 546.4 (up from 523.4)

There have now been more than 64,350 lab-confirmed cases of the virus identified from the combined counties since the outbreak of the pandemic.

There were two more deaths reported on Friday, with the figure at 5,839 across Wales since the start of the pandemic.

PHW confirmed that 631 of the latest 2,727 Welsh cases came from the northern region.

• Anglesey – 59 (84.2 per 100,000 population)
Conwy – 158 (134.8 per 100,000 population)
• Denbighshire – 104 (108.7 per 100,000 population)
• Flintshire – 112 (71.7 per 100,000 population)
• Gwynedd – 102 (81.9 per 100,000 population)
• Wrexham – 96 (70.6 per 100,000 population)

BCUHB stats:
• Total confirmed COVID-19 cases from North Wales as of September 24 – 64,351

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) – the largest health board in Wales – has reported 1,028 people have sadly died since the start of the pandemic, according to PHW data.

Figures from the Office for National Statistics, which are considered a stronger indicator of the overall impact of the virus, and which are based on all deaths where COVID is mentioned on the death certificate, stand at 1,458 for the health board area.

The latest vaccination figures for Wales reveals that over 2,403,570 people have taken up the offer of a single COVID vaccine dose. Meanwhile, a total of 2,214,247 people are double jabbed.

These figures cover the entire country of Wales and all those eligible for a vaccine dose.

The national picture:
Across Wales, another 2,727 COVID cases were confirmed in the latest figures, meaning that 338,338 people are now known to have contracted the coronavirus since the pandemic began.

MORE than 5600 new cases of Covid and 12 deaths due to the virus have sadly been recorded in Wales today.

Public Health Wales (PHW) have shared the latest figures for September 27 for Wales, covering a two day period, with 5659 people having tested positive for Covid.

PHW have also shared that sadly 12 people have died due to the virus.

Here in North Wales, there were 933 new cases recorded.

Gwynedd 210
Flintshire 187
Conwy 169
Wrexham 140
Denbighshire 135
Anglesey 92

The seven-day infection rate in Wales as a whole is now 633.2 cases per 100,000 people.

In North Wales, the county with the highest rate of infection is Conwy with 674.0 cases per 100,000.

North Wales recorded one more coronavirus death and 425 new cases in the latest reporting period.

The latest Public Health Wales figures showed there have now been 1,036 people to die within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test.

Across Wales, there were another six coronavirus deaths, bringing the total to 5,870 since the start of the pandemic.

A total of 2,270 new coronavirus cases were recorded across Wales as a whole, bringing overall infections since recording started to 349,570.

Betsi Cadwaladr as a whole: 420 new cases - total 66,325

Data released by Public Health Wales on September 29 shows that 3,369 new cases were reported across Wales - of which 624 were in the North.

• Anglesey – 70 (99.9 per 100,000 population)
Conwy – 118 (100.7 per 100,000 population)
• Denbighshire – 120 (125.4 per 100,000 population)
• Flintshire – 110 (70.5 per 100,000 population)
• Gwynedd – 116 (93.1per 100,000 population)
• Wrexham – 90 (66.2 per 100,000 population)

BCUHB stats:
• Total confirmed COVID-19 cases from North Wales as of September 29 – 66,949.

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) – the largest health board in Wales – has reported 1,037 people have sadly died since the start of the pandemic, according to PHW data - a daily increase of one.

Figures from the Office for National Statistics, which are considered a stronger indicator of the overall impact of the virus, and which are based on all deaths where COVID is mentioned on the death certificate, stand at 1,458 for the health board area.

Hospital weekly data:
The weekly inpatients in all hospital wards in Betsi Cadwaladr UHB, as of September 19 stood at 2,279 with the number of confirmed patients at 133.

The number of hospital admissions was at 1,280. Of which 47 were positive on admission, 408 were tested on admission and 14 were tested positive on admission.

Vaccine status:
The latest vaccination figures for Wales reveals that over 2,375,943 people have taken up the offer of a single COVID vaccine dose. Meanwhile, a total of 2,222,202 people are double jabbed.

These figures cover the entire country of Wales and all those eligible for a vaccine dose.

The national picture:
Across Wales, another 3,369 COVID cases were confirmed in the latest figures, meaning that 352,939 people are now known to have contracted the coronavirus since the pandemic began.

There were nine more deaths reported on Wednesday, with the figure at 5,879 across Wales since the start of the pandemic.

There have now been more than 67,470 lab-confirmed cases of the virus identified from the combined counties since the outbreak of the pandemic - after more incidents were confirmed by Public Health Wales (PHW) in the latest figures released on September 30.

PHW confirmed that 524 of the latest 2,580 Welsh cases came from the northern region – meaning North Wales represented 20.3 per cent of all Welsh cases reported today.

OVER 450 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in North Wales in the latest 24-hour period.

Public Health Wales figures released on Sunday (October 3) show that 463 new cases were confirmed in the region in the 24-hour period between Thursday and Friday.

Wrexham - 75

As of September 26, 126 people were being treated for Covid in North Wales hospitals - making up roughly 5 per cent of the region's total number of hospital inpatients.

Sadly, in the latest 24-hour period a further 10 people have died in Wales within 28 days of testing Covid positive.

ALMOST 4,000 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Wales, according to the latest figures published today.

Of the 3,968 new cases, 804 were in the North Wales region covered by the Betsi Cadwalader University Health Board.

Sadly, there were 17 further covid-related deaths in Wales.

Figures reported on a Monday cover a 48-hour period.

The statistics, published today (October 5) by Public Health Wales, shows that 351 cases of the virus were found in the Betsi Cadwaldr region, bringing the total number of cases in the area since the start of the pandemic to 69,669.

No further deaths were recorded in North Wales today, leaving the total number of Covid deaths to 1,041 in the region.

A further 263 cases of Covid-19 have been recorded across North Wales in the latest official figures - but no new deaths were reported for a third day.

Public Health Wales data published on Wednesday lunchtime (October 6) shows there have now been 69,932 confirmed cases across the region since the start of the pandemic.

Nationally, 2,007 more infections were recorded today, taking the total to 368,629.

Eight more virus-related fatalities have been reported across the country, meaning a total of 5,934 people have died since the start of the pandemic.

The total number of Covid deaths within the Betsi Cadwaladr health board area covering North Wales is unchanged at 1,041.

A TOTAL of 3,400 new cases of covid-19 have been reported across Wales, with more than 600 of those in North Wales.

Public Health Wales announced on Thursday that 628 new cases of the virus have been reported across North Wales.

104 in Flintshire
97 in Wrexham
102 in Denbighshire
122 in Gwynedd
85 on Anglesey
118 in Conwy

A further 8 Covid-19 related deaths were reported throughout Wales.

The total number of suspected Covid-19 deaths reported to Public Health Wales stands at 5,942.
