Two more people diagnosed with Covid-19 have died in North Wales, according to Government data released on Tuesday (February 16).
Figures from Public Health Wales show the death toll for the region now stands at 836, up from 834 yesterday.

In the past 24 hours, 89 new positive tests have also been reported in the area covered by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 31,826 cases have been reported throughout the region.

Across Wales, another 275 positive tests have been reported, taking the overall total of cases so far to 199,793.
The infection rate across Wales is 88.2 per 100,000 population, based on the seven days up to February 11, a decrease from 91.6 on Monday.

The nationwide death toll now stands at 5,145 following a rise of 8.

A further 5,363 tests have been completed in Wales since yesterday, meaning that 2,588,882 tests have been carried out nationally.

The latest data also shows that 795,927 people have now received a first dose of the coronavirus vaccine, up from the figure of 784,809 published 24 hours earlier. Meanwhile, 7,251 people have now received both doses of the vaccine.

Another 15 people with Covid-19 have died in North Wales, according to Government data released on Wednesday (February 17).

Figures from Public Health Wales show the death toll for the region now stands at 851, up from 836 yesterday.

In the past 24 hours, 89 new positive tests have also been reported in the area covered by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 31,915 cases have been reported throughout the region.

Across Wales, another 374 positive tests have been reported, taking the overall total of cases so far to 200,166.

The infection rate across Wales is 85.8 per 100,000 population, based on the seven days up to February 12, a decrease from 88.2 on Tuesday.

The nationwide death toll now stands at 5,175 following a rise of 30.

A further 6,610 tests have been completed in Wales since yesterday, meaning that 2,595,492 tests have been carried out nationally.

The latest data also shows that 807,351 people have now received a first dose of the coronavirus vaccine, up from the figure of 795,927 published 24 hours earlier. Meanwhile, 12,988 people have now received both doses of the vaccine.

OVER 100 new coronavirus cases were reported in North Wales, latest figures show.

Data released by Public Health Wales on February 19 shows that a total of 105 new Covid cases were reported in the North.

This can be broken down to 16 in Anglesey, 13 in Conwy, 12 in Denbighshire, 24 in Flintshire, 26 in Gwynedd and 14 in Wrexham.

The Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board sadly reported a further two deaths, bringing the total to 856.

Across Wales, a total of 533 cases were reported across the country.

Sadly, a further 16 people lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 5,205.

The average seven-day rate has fallen to 84 cases per 100,000 people.

Data released by Public Health Wales on February 19 shows that a total of 839,065 people have received their first dose of the vaccine and 19,342 received their second dose.

Data released by Public Health Wales on February 20 shows that a total of 363 new Covid cases were reported in the whole of Wales, with 77 of those in the North.

This can be broken down to 19 cases in Conwy, 14 in Denbighshire, 14 in Gwynedd, 12 in Flintshire, 11 on Anglesey and 7 in Wrexham.
The Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board death toll now stands at 857, with one new death reported in the latest figures.

FOUR further Coronavirus-related deaths have been reported in North Wales, latest figures show.

Data released by Public Health Wales on February 21 shows that a total of 336 new Covid-19 cases were reported in the whole of Wales, with 59 of those in the North - down from the 77 reported for the region a day earlier.

This can be broken down to 14 cases in Gwynedd, 11 in Anglesey, 11 in Wrexham, 9 in Conwy, 7 in Denbighshire and 7 in Flintshire.

The Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board death toll now stands at 861, with four new deaths reported in the latest figures for North Wales.

Across Wales, a total of 336 new cases were reported across the country.

The infection rate across Wales is 80 per 100,000 population, based on the seven days up to February 17, a decrease from 83 on Sunday.
Anglesey is now the local authority with the highest infection rate in Wales with a seven-day rate of 112.8 cases per 100,000 population, down from 122.8 on the day before.

Flintshire is second with 109.5 cases per 100,000 population, down from 122.4 reported previously.

The nationwide death toll now stands at 5,246 following another nine fatalities.

Figures from Public Health Wales released on Tuesday (February 23) show the death toll for the region stands at 861, unchanged since Sunday.

A total of 32,464 cases of Covid have been reported in the area covered by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board since the start of the pandemic.

Public Health Wales said four additional cases of the South African variant of coronavirus had been discovered in Wales since a previous update on February 17 - bringing the total number to 21.  One with no known links to contacts or travel - was in Flintshire, with a second in Conwy.

Across Wales, another 317 positive tests have been reported, taking the overall total of cases so far to 202,324.

Another 71 cases of coronavirus have been recorded in North Wales today, while another three people have sadly died after contracting Covid-19.

Figures from Public Health Wales released on Friday (February 26) show that the number of people who have died in North Wales hospitals now stands at 872, an increase of three compared to yesterday's figures.

A total of 32,680 cases of coroanvirus have been reported in the region covered by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board since the start of the pandemic. The health board is the largest in Wales, accounting for 22% of the country's population.

There were 308 new cases recorded across the whole of Wales today, bringing the total confirmed number of cases to 203,180.

Wales' infection rate now stands at 75.2 cases per 100,000, based on figures from the seven days ending February 21. it is down from a rate of 75.4 reported yesterday.

Anglesey's infection rate continued to rise over the last few days and now stands at 108.5 cases per 100,000 people. On Thursday the recorded rate stood at 101.4.

Anglesey now has the highest infection rate in Wales.

Conwy has the second highest rate in North Wales at 94.7 while the lowest rate is found in Wexham, at 67.7.

Across the whole of Wales 5,300 people have now died as a result of the virus, following a further 16 deaths being recorded over the last 24 hours.

A further 13,878 tests have been completed in Wales since yesterday, meaning that 2,697,076 tests have been carried out nationally.

The latest data also shows that 902,334 people have now received a first dose of the coronavirus vaccine. Meanwhile, 80,062 people have now received both doses of the vaccine.

Daily Wales figures show "encouraging" signs but come with warning not to let our guard down yet

ALMOST 70 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed across our region by Public Health Wales (PHW) on Monday.

Public Health Wales confirmed that 69 of today’s 198 newly confirmed Welsh cases were from the northern region.

• Anglesey – Six (8.6 per 100,000 population as of today)
Conwy – 12 (10.2 per 100,000 population as of today)
• Denbighshire – Eight (8.4 per 100,000 population as of today)
• Flintshire – 16 (10.2 per 100,000 population as of today)
• Gwynedd – 13 (10.4 per 100,000 population as of today)
• Wrexham – 14 (10.3 per 100,000 population as of today)

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board – the largest health board in Wales – has reported 875 people have sadly died since the start of the pandemic, according to PHW data.

Figures from the Office for National Statistics, which are considered a stronger indicator of the overall impact of the virus, and which are based on all deaths where COVID is mentioned on the death certificate, stand at 1,230 for the health board area.

• Total confirmed COVID-19 cases from North Wales as of February 27 – 32,749
• New cases from today (February 27) – 69

Across Wales, another 198 COVID cases were confirmed in Saturday’s figures, meaning that 203,378 people are now known to have contracted the coronavirus since the pandemic began.

There were 16 newly reported deaths, meaning the number of people to have died with confirmed cases of coronavirus sadly stands at 5,316 in Wales.

ALMOST 75 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed across our region by Public Health Wales (PHW) on Monday.

There have now been more than 32,820 lab-confirmed cases of the virus from the combined counties that make up the North Wales region since the outbreak of the pandemic - after more incidents were confirmed in the latest figures released on February 28.

Public Health Wales confirmed that 74 of today’s 247 newly confirmed Welsh cases were from the northern region.

• Anglesey – Eight (11.4 per 100,000 population as of today)
Conwy – 20 (17.1 per 100,000 population as of today)
• Denbighshire – Five (5.2 per 100,000 population as of today)
• Flintshire – 10 (6.4 per 100,000 population as of today)
• Gwynedd – 21 (16.9 per 100,000 population as of today)
• Wrexham – 10 (7.4 per 100,000 population as of today)

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board – the largest health board in Wales – has reported 877 people have sadly died since the start of the pandemic, according to PHW data.

Figures from the Office for National Statistics, which are considered a stronger indicator of the overall impact of the virus, and which are based on all deaths where COVID is mentioned on the death certificate, stand at 1,230 for the health board area.

• Total confirmed COVID-19 cases from North Wales as of February 27 – 32,823
• New cases from today (February 27) – 69

Across Wales, another 247 COVID cases were confirmed in Sunday’s figures, meaning that 203,625 people are now known to have contracted the coronavirus since the pandemic began.

There were 24 newly reported deaths, meaning the number of people to have died with confirmed cases of coronavirus sadly stands at 5,340 in Wales.
