OVER 1,000 new coronavirus cases have been reported across Wales, latest figures show.    ref Pioneer

Data released by Public Health Wales on November 26 shows that there had been 1,251 new cases reported across Wales.
Of which, 105 were in the North Wales region.

These can be broken down to 11 in Anglesey, four in Conwy, nine in Denbighshire, 27 in Flintshire, 10 in Gwynedd and 44 in Wrexham.

Anglesey - 15.7 per 100,000 population as of today
Conwy - 3.4 per per 100,000 population as of today
Denbighshire - 9.4 per 100,000 population as of today
Flintshire - 17.3 per 100,000 population as of today
Gwynedd - 8.0 per 100,000 population as of today
Wrexham - 32.4 per 100,000 population as of today

The Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board sadly reported a further four deaths bringing the total to 521.

The total number of cases for each county can be broken down to 895 in Anglesey, 1,703 in Conwy, 1,759 in Denbighshire, 2,946 in Flintshire, 1,351 in Gwynedd and 3,717 in Wrexham.

Nationally, a further 28 coronavirus-related deaths were reported across Wales bringing the total death toll to 2,474.

CORONAVIRUS continues to spread faster than anticipated', the First Minister said.

Data released by Public Health Wales on November 27 shows that there had been 1,105 new cases reported across Wales, of which, 87 were in the North Wales region.

These can be broken down to 10 in Anglesey, three in Conwy, eight in Denbighshire, 20 in Flintshire, two in Gwynedd and 44 in Wrexham.

Anglesey - 14.3 per 100,000 population as of today
Conwy - 2.6 per per 100,000 population as of today
Denbighshire - 8.4 per 100,000 population as of today
Flintshire - 12.8 per 100,000 population as of today
Gwynedd - 1.6 per 100,000 population as of today
Wrexham - 32.4 per 100,000 population as of today

The total number of cases since recording began for each county can be broken down to 905 in Anglesey, 1,706 in Conwy, 1,767 in Denbighshire, 2,966 in Flintshire, 1,353 in Gwynedd and 3,761 in Wrexham.

The Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board sadly reported a further two deaths bringing the total to 523.

Nationally, a further 21 coronavirus-related deaths were reported across Wales bringing the total death toll to 2,494.
At the press conference in Cardiff, First Minister Mark Drakeford said the fire-break achieved what it had set out to do but now, the virus is spreading quicker 'than anticipated'.

There have been 51 new cases in North Wales in the latest 24 hour period, taking the total here to 12,725 cases since the pandemic arrived.

Across Wales, there have been 802 new cases, which brings the overall national total to 80,342.
There were three deaths reported across the country in the latest daily figures from Public Health Wales, taking the overall death toll to 2,450.

The data for North Wales has actually put the number of deaths down by two, from 529 to 527. Occasionally data analysis does record such falls, although it is more common for such revisions to lead to numbers going up, as more virus deaths are uncovered that had previously been recorded as non-Covid.

The number of tests carried out in Wales in the latest daily period was 12,699.
A total of 1,497,917 tests have now been carried out since the testing scheme began.

JUST under 90 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed across our region by Public Health Wales (PHW) today.
Public Health Wales confirmed that the 89 of today’s 667 newly confirmed Welsh cases were from the northern region.

• Anglesey – Zero (0 per 100,000 population as of today)
Conwy – Zero (0 per 100,000 population as of today)
• Denbighshire – Eight (8.4 per 100,000 population as of today)
• Flintshire – 25 (16.0 per 100,000 population as of today)
• Gwynedd – Six (4.8 per 100,000 population as of today)
• Wrexham – 50 (36.8 per 100,000 population as of today)

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board – the largest health board in Wales – has reported 527 people have sadly died to date according to PHW data.
Figures from the Office for National Statistics, which are considered a stronger indicator of the overall impact of the virus, and which are based on all deaths where COVID is mentioned on the death certificate, stand at 654 for the health board area.

JUST under 130 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed across our region by Public Health Wales (PHW) today.

Public Health Wales confirmed that 129 of today’s 1,480 newly confirmed Welsh cases were from the northern region. The largest portion came from Wrexham and Flintshire respectively

• Conwy – 13 (11.1 per 100,000 population as of today)
• Denbighshire – 16 (16.7 per 100,000 population as of today)
• Flintshire – 39 (25.0 per 100,000 population as of today)

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board – the largest health board in Wales – has reported 538 people have sadly died to date according to PHW data – an increase of 11 compared to December 1.

Across Wales, another 1,480 COVID cases were confirmed in Wednesday’s figures, meaning that 82,489 people are now known to have contracted the coronavirus since the pandemic began.

There have been 66 new cases of coronavirus recorded across North Wales in the past 25 hours.

In the same time, one more person has passed away after testing positive for Covid-19, according to figures released by Public Health Wales today (December 3).
A total of 539 people have now died in the area covered by the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board - up from 539 yesterday

There have been 24 more coronavirus deaths across Wales, bringing the death toll to 2,638 since the beginning of the pandemic.

The number of tests carried out in Wales in the latest daily period was 14,212.
A total of 1,530, 546 tests have now been carried out since the testing scheme began.

In the same time, two more people have died after testing positive for Covid-19, according to figures released by Public Health Wales today .

Public Health Wales figures released on Saturday (December 5) show that 132 new cases have been confirmed in the region.

Anglesey - 8 (965 in total)
Conwy - 12 (1,764 in total)
Denbighshire - 10 (1,849 in total)
Gwynedd - 9 (1,410 in total)
Flintshire - 33 (3,178 in total)
Wrexham - 60 (4,082 in total)

Sadly, 24 people who had tested positive for coronavirus in the last 28 days have died in the last 24 hour period.
It takes the total number of Welsh suspected Covid-related deaths to 2,695.

Over 17,000 coronavirus tests were undertaken across Wales in the last day, with there having been over 1.5 million tests undertaken since the start of the pandemic.

With so much time and effort going in to the Covid Pandemic, now is not the time to have an inquest into this virus but it must happen in the future as there are so many questions that need answering

For instance Thailand which has a population of nearly 70 million people has had its death rate from Coronavirus go up to 60, whereas the UK with a population of nearly 67 million has a death rate from Coronavirus of over 60 thousand.
My brother who is in regular weekly contact with people in Thailand told me that one infected person from another country has come into Thailand and infected Thai people.
That person is now in a Thai prison he was told

Public Health Wales figures released on Sunday (December 6) show that 121 new cases of the virus have been confirmed in the region in the last day.

Anglesey - 2 (967 in total)
Conwy - 18 (1,782 in total)
Denbighshire - 20 (1,869 in total)
Flintshire - 47 (3,225 in total)
Gwynedd - 9 (1,419 in total)
Wrexham - 25 (4,106 in total)

Sadly, 14 people who had tested positive for coronavirus in the last 28 days have died in the last 24 hour period.  (38 dead in two days)

Dr Chris Williams, incident director for the Novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak response at Public Health Wales, said: “It is now clear from the data that the coronavirus cases are rising in most parts of Wales, reversing the downward trend we had observed as a result of the fire break.

“We ask the public to observe the regulations and to limit their contact with other people as much as possible so that we all work together to bring the numbers of positive cases down.
