North Wales coronavirus breakdown as country records 37 deaths in 24 hours

Two more people have died in North Wales after testing positive for Covid-19, according to figures released by Public Health Wales today (October 28).

In the past 24 hours, another 145 coronavirus cases have also been recorded across the region.
PHW data shows North Wales' death toll now stands at 452.

Throughout Wales, 1,414 new positive Covid-19 tests have been identified bringing the total to 46,459.

PHW also confirmed 37 more people have died, meaning 1,827 people have passed away since the beginning of the pandemic.

In the area covered by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, there are 9,184 cases as of today.

Anglesey:  12 new cases - total  734
Gwynedd:  10 new cases - total 1,126

THERE have been 21 new coronavirus related deaths reported across Wales and over 1,000 new cases, latest figures show. ref Pioneer

Data released by Public Health Wales on October 29 shows that 224 new cases were reported in the North Wales Region.

Of which include Wrexham with the highest jump of 80 new cases, Flintshire with 62, Conwy with 32, Anglesey with 19, Denbighshire with 16, and Gwynedd with 15.

The Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board sadly reported a further two deaths, taking the total to 454.

Nationally, a total of 1,375 new cases were reported in the last 24-hours and the death toll has risen to 1,848.

A full breakdown of total cases in North Wales and rate per 100k can be broken down to:
Anglesey: 753 cases with a rate of 1,075.1 per 100k
Conwy: 1,427 cases with a rate of 1,217,5 per 100k
Denbighshire: 1,397 cases with a rate of 1,459.8 per 100k
Flintshire: 2,004 cases with a rate of 1,282.8 per 100k
Gwynedd: 1,141 cases with a rate of 916.0 per 100k

MORE than 160 new cases of covid-19 have been reported across North Wales, health chiefs have confirmed.

Public Health Wales announced on Friday afternoon that there have been 1,737 new welsh cases of the virus across Wales, as well as a further 11 deaths.
of the new cases, 165 were reported in the Betsi Cadwaladr University health Board area.

68 in Wrexham
50 in Flintshire
16 in Conwy
12 on Anglesey
10 in Denbighshire
Nine in Gwynedd.
Public Health Wales also confirmed the total number of covid-19 deaths in lab confirmed cases in the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board area now stands at 455.

Data released by Public Health Ways on October 31 shows that 186 new cases were reported in the North Wales region.  ref Pioneer

These can be broken down to 62 in Wrexham, 55 in Flintshire, 25 in Conwy, 17 in Denbighshire, 14 in Gwynedd and 13 in Anglesey.

The total number of cases and rate per 100k can be broken down to:
Anglesey: 778 cases with a rate of 1,110.7 per 100k
Conwy: 1,468 cases with a rate of 1,252.5 per 100k
Denbighshire: 1,424 cases with a rate of 1,488.0 per 100k
Flintshire: 2,109 cases with a rate of 1,351.1 per 100k
Gwynedd: 1,164 cases with a rate of 934.5 per 100k
Wrexham: 2,816 cases with a rate of 2,071.2 per 100k.

Sadly, the Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board reported a further two deaths bringing the total to 457, the second highest across Wales.

Nationally, a total of 1,301 new cases were recorded and a further 13 deaths bringing the total to 1,872.

WALES' total number of positive cases is lower today but some test results have not been included, figures show.

Data released by Public Health Wales on November 1 showed that 134 cases were reported in the North Wales region.

These can be broken down to seven in Anglesey, eight in Conwy, 38 in Denbighshire, 39 in Flintshire, eight in Gwynedd and 34 in Wrexham.

The total number of cases and rate per 100k can be broken down to:

Anglesey: 785 cases with 1,120.7 per 100k
Conwy: 1,476 cases with 1,259.4 per 100k
Denbighshire: 1,462 cases with 1,527.8 per 100k
Flintshire: 2,148 cases with 1,376.0 per 100k
Gwynedd: 1,172 with 940.9 per 100k
Wrexham: 2,850 with 2,096.3 per 100k

Sadly, the Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board reported a further two deaths bringing the total to 459.
Nationally, a total of 816 cases were recorded and 16 deaths, bringing the total to 1,888.

Another 188 coronavirus cases have been recorded in North Wales - taking the region's total past 10,000 since the start of the pandemic.

The latest data released by Public Health Wales on Monday (November 2) shows no new deaths in North Wales.
The total death toll for the region since the start of the pandemic remains at 459.

Across the country, 1,646 new positive Covid-19 tests have been confirmed, bringing the total to 53,337.

And another 3 people have died, meaning 1,891 people have passed away since the start of the pandemic.

Public Health Wales said today's figures include a backlog of data from the previous 24 hours,  "due to a data transfer issue between NWIS and Public Health Wales over the weekend".

In the area covered by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, there have now been 10,081 confirmed cases.

Two more people have died and another 128 coronavirus cases have been recorded in North Wales, latest Public Health Wales figures show. ref DP

The total death toll for the region now stands at 461, according to statistics released at 2pm today (Tuesday, November 3).

Across the country, 1,119 new positive Covid-19 tests have been confirmed, bringing the total to 54,456.

And another 4 people have died, meaning 1,895 people have passed away since the start of the pandemic.

In the area covered by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, there have now been 10,209 confirmed cases.

THERE have been 44 new coronavirus deaths in Wales, the highest daily increase since the pandemic began.

Data released by Public Health Wales on November 4 shows that 88 new cases were reported in North Wales.
These can be broken down to 33 in Wrexham, 21 in Flintshire, nine in Gwynedd, eight in Denbighshire, five in Conwy and two in Anglesey.

Sadly, the Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board reported a further two deaths, bringing the total to 463.
Across Wales, a total of 44 deaths were reported, the highest daily increase since the pandemic began, meaning the total now sits at 1,939.

As of November 4, the total number of cases and cases per 100k can be broken down to:
Anglesey: 804 cases with 1,147.9 per 100k
Conwy: 1,516 cases with 1,293.5 per 100k
Denbighshire: 1,507 cases with 1,574.8 per 100k
Flintshire: 2,248 cases with 1,440.1 per 100k

In the same time, 121 new positive tests have been reported, according to figures released by Public Health Wales today (November 6).
The total death toll for the region now stands at 466.

Across the country, 1,352 cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed, bringing the total to 58,279.

ALMOST 110 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed across our region by Public Health Wales (PHW) today.

There have now been 10,655 lab-confirmed cases of the virus from the combined counties that make up the North Wales region since the outbreak of the pandemic - after more incidents were confirmed in the latest figures released today.

Public Health Wales confirmed that the 107 of today’s 1,119 newly confirmed Welsh cases were from the northern region and can be broken down as such:
• Anglesey – 10 (14.3 per 100,000 population as of today)
• Conwy – 12 (10.2 per 100,000 population as of today)
• Denbighshire – 12 (12.5 per 100,000 population as of today)
• Flintshire – 24 (15.4 per 100,000 population as of today)
• Gwynedd – 10 (8.0 per 100,000 population as of today)
• Wrexham – 39 (28.7 per 100,000 population as of today)

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board – the largest health board in Wales – has reported 469 have sadly died to date according to PHW data.

Figures from the Office for National Statistics, which are considered a stronger indicator of the overall impact of the virus, and which are based on all deaths where COVID is mentioned on the death certificate, stand at 600 for the health board area.

Another 69 cases of coronavirus have been recorded in North Wales - according to new figures released as the country's firebreak lockdown was lifted.

The latest statistics from Public Health Wales on Monday (November 9) reveal that across the country, a further 931 cases reported.

No new deaths have been recorded in North Wales and the total death toll for the region remains at 470.
Country-wide, an additional 8 people have died, meaning 2,041 people have now passed away since the beginning of the pandemic.

In the area covered by  Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, there have now been 10,855 confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic.
Across Wales, there were 11,894 tests carried out in the last 24 hours - bringing the total to 1,255,816 since the beginning of the pandemic.

Public Health Wales stressed the end of the firebreak did not mean a "return to normality" and urged people to follow the new regulations in place from today.

However, Public Health Wales says there is reporting delay in Public Health Wales receiving data from non-NHS Wales laboratories, meaning the actual number of Welsh cases is much higher.

In the last 24 hours a further 22 people who had tested positive for coronavirus have sadly died - taking the country's total number of suspected coronavirus-related deaths to 2,063.

Over 1.2 million coronavirus tests have been conducted in Wales, with 7,411 of those conducted on Monday.
