Another 271 coronavirus cases have been identified across North Wales in today's statistics (Thursday, February 17)

No new deaths have been recorded in North Wales today, meaning that the death toll in the Betsi Cadwaladr health board area remains at 1,237.

Across the whole of Wales, four new deaths were recorded today, bringing the total number of Covid-related deaths during the pandemic to 6,935.

There have been another 1,352 positive coronavirus cases identified in the 24 hours leading up to 9am on Wednesday (February 16).

There have now been 2,517,309 first doses of the coronavirus vaccine given out, while 2,379,217 people had been double-jabbed.

Additionally, 60,339 people had been given a third dose and 1,886,098 people had been given the booster. The two are counted individually as a third dose for those who are considered immunosuppressed.

Betsi Cadwaladr as a whole: 271 new cases - total 155,211

Anglesey: 29 new cases - total 13,479
Conwy: 50 new cases - total 24,105

Three new deaths have been recorded in North Wales today, meaning that the death toll in the Betsi Cadwaladr health board area now stands at 1,240.

Across the whole of Wales, eight new deaths were recorded today, bringing the total number of Covid-related deaths during the pandemic to 6,943.

There have been another 1,260 positive coronavirus cases identified in the 24 hours leading up to 9am on Thursday (February 17).

There have now been 2,517,543 first doses of the coronavirus vaccine given out, while 2,379,805 people had been double-jabbed.

Additionally, 60,381 people had been given a third dose and 1,888,191 people had been given the booster. The two are counted individually as a third dose for those who are considered immunosuppressed.

No new deaths have been recorded in North Wales today, meaning that the death toll in the Betsi Cadwaladr health board area remains at 1,240.

Across the whole of Wales, 12 new deaths were recorded today, bringing the total number of Covid-related deaths during the pandemic to 6,956.

There have been another 1,672 positive coronavirus cases identified in the 24 hours leading up to 9am on Monday (February 21).

There have now been 2,518,455 first doses of the coronavirus vaccine given out, while 2,382,278 people had been double-jabbed.

Additionally, 60,508 people had been given a third dose and 1,892,895 people had been given the booster. The two are counted individually as a third dose for those who are considered immunosuppressed.

Across the whole of Wales, 5 new deaths were recorded today, bringing the total number of Covid-related deaths during the pandemic to 6,961.

There have been another 903 positive coronavirus cases identified in the 24 hours leading up to 9am on Tuesday (February 22).

There have now been 2,518,753 first doses of the coronavirus vaccine given out, while 2,382,807 people had been double-jabbed.

Additionally, 60,562 people had been given a third dose and 1,894,329 people had been given the booster. The two are counted individually as a third dose for those who are considered immunosuppressed.

JUST over 1,000 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Wales in the latest figures revealed by Public Health Wales (PHW).

The latest PHW statistics published show that 1,059 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported throughout Wales.

A total of 239 of those cases were in North Wales.

These can be broken down county-by-county to:

Conwy - 54
Wrexham - 50
Flintshire - 49
Gwynedd - 36
Denbighshire - 26
Anglesey - 24

Sadly, a further 8 deaths have been recorded in the latest PHW figures. That means that a total of 6,969 suspected Covid-19-related deaths have been recorded in Wales since figures first began in early 2020.

The statistics also show 1,896,063 people in Wales have now received their Covid-19 booster jab.

The update from Public Heath Wales on Friday is was reported that 855 new cases had been confirmed in Wales.

These figures are the results of PCR testing not Lateral Flow Testing.

Sadly there were a further ten Covid-related recorded in Wales.

Of the 855 new cases, 207 were recorded here in North Wales.

The Betsi Cadwalader Health Board, which covers the North Wales region, had the highest number of new cases in Wales

Anglesey 12
Conwy 40
Denbighshire 43
Flintshire 44
Gwynedd 24
Wrexham 44

The rolling seven-day rate of infection in Wales is now 202.3 cases per 100,000 population in Wales as a whole

North Wales recorded another 69 coronavirus cases and two more Covid-related deaths as four boroughs saw an increase in infection rates.

According to Public Health Wales' latest statistics there have now been 156,616 Covid cases across the region since the start of the pandemic. In the wider country, there have been another 339 cases, with a total of 813,038 infections.

There have now been 1,246 people across North Wales who have died within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test. While there were four in the wider country bringing the total to 6,983.

There have now been 2,520,572 first doses of the coronavirus vaccine given out, while 2,385,800 people had been double-jabbed.

Additionally, 60,781 people had been given a third dose and 1,900,935 people had been given the booster. The two are counted individually as a third dose for those who are considered immunosuppressed.

THERE have been more than 2,000 new cases of coronavirus recorded in the latest update for Wales.

The latest update from Public Health Wales covers the last 72 hour period - this is because figures are no longer updated at the weekend.

It shows that 2,225 new positive PCR tests have been recorded.

Sadly, there were an additional ten Covid-related deaths in Wales.

Of the 2,225 new cases, 477 were here in North Wales covered by the Betsi Cadwalader University Health Board.

The seven-day rolling infection rate in Wales, one of the best indicators of the Covid situation, is 158.8 per 100,000 people in the population.

Over 750 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in the latest update for Wales.

The latest update from Public Health Wales released on Wednesday, covers the last 24 hour period - over 2,000 were recorded in yesterday's figures but that is because figures are no longer updated at the weekend.

770 new positive PCR tests have been recorded across Wales.

Sadly, there were an additional eight Covid-related deaths in Wales, taking the total number of deaths to 7,001.

Of the 770 new cases, 152 were here in North Wales covered by the Betsi Cadwalader University Health Board.

North Wales has recorded another 253 coronavirus cases as infection rates increased in three counties - but no new deaths were reported today.

Figures from Public Health Wales published on Friday (March 4) show that the number of people to die with Covid-19 in North Wales since the start of the coronavirus pandemic remains unchanged today at 1,255. There were three more deaths nationwide.

The new cases take the total number of recorded infections across North Wales to 157,674. The latest update covers the 24 hours up to 9am on Thursday.

Across the country, 1,177 new cases were reported. It takes the total number of recorded infections since the start of the pandemic in Wales to 818,146, while 7,015 people have died.

There have now been 2,521,301 first doses of the coronavirus vaccine given out in Wales, while 2,387,565 people had been double-jabbed. Additionally, 61,098 people have been given a third dose.

The figures also show that 1,908,451 people have had a booster. Boosters and third doses are recorded separately, with the third dose given to those who are considered immunosuppressed.
