However, new data from The Office For National Statistics suggests coronavirus-related deaths in Wales have gone over the 2,200 mark.
North Wales still has the second highest number of deaths with the toll standing at 299 according to figures released by Public Health Wales.
Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board recorded 13 new confirmed cases in the last 24 hours bringing the total number to 2,999 in North Wales.
Public Health Wales today recorded 42 new known cases overall in Wales, meaning 14,480 people have now tested positive for the disease although the actual number is likely to be much higher.
Cwm Taf Morgannwg Health Board currently has the highest number of deaths with 302 recorded, but the numbers don't include some deaths within the community.
Since the outbreak began, 239 people have now tested positive in Anglesey, 567 in Conwy, 664 in Denbighshire, 475 in Flintshire, 458 in Gwynedd and 596 in Wrexham.
