The USA is now nudging past 2,000,000 cases with 111,375 deaths. To put it in context, 73,505 shooting injuries occurred last year so finally something's more dangerous than firearms in the US of A.

Map pinpoints location of all coronavirus deaths
It illustrates the toll Covid-19 has taken in towns and villages across the region.

This map shows where tragic deaths from coronavirus have occurred in North Wales.

The chart, released by the Office for National Statistics (ONS), pinpoints areas where people have died of Covid-19, across the region and in Wales and England.

It covers all deaths from Covid-19 between March 1 2020 and May 31 2020, which were registered by June 6.

According to the ONS, points on the map are placed at the centre of the local area they represent and do not show the actual location of deaths. The size of the circle is proportional to the number of deaths
