Wales to restrict social gatherings to six people indoors to reduce spread of coronavirus.

RULES about changes to who people can meet safely will be announced by Welsh Government today.

The First Minister of Wales, Mark Drakeford will today (September 11) confirm changes to the rules on meeting people indoors to help prevent the spread of coronavirus in Wales.

The changes come as parts of Wales have seen an increase in cases of the virus linked to people meeting and socialising with others indoors but without social distancing.

From Monday, September 14, a new limit of six people will be introduced on the number of people who can meet indoors at any one time.
All six must belong to the same extended household group.

There will be no change to the current rules which allow up to four households to form an exclusive extended household in Wales, and no change to the rules on meeting outdoors.

We have recently bought some new 3 layer reusable face masks for future use, at the same time we added an order of breathing bracket inserts, and although only trying them at home, I was very impressed, as it was definitely easier to breath and not so claustrophobic.

96p each or 6 for £5

Steve, thanks very much for that tip on the breathing brackets and I'm sure that they will come in very handy now, especially as it is compulsory now in Wales to wear them in shops etc
Mrs H normally does all the shopping and she has been wearing the masks for ages but today I was in the Chemists and had the mask on but I had a bit of a wait and found it uncomfortable and hot.
I'm sure that the brackets will help and have just ordered a pack of 5 for £3.95. with P & P at £4.95            $good$

Hugo, you are very welcome, I tried them again last night for an hour while watching TV without any problems, another bonus it stops my glasses misting, and it seams to keep the mask in place even when talking.

We have just got to get on with it Steve as this virus doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon and anything that helps is a bonus.
Thanks again for the tip

Steve,  those brackets I have ordered have now been received and I tried them on yesterday.     They do actually work and I found that the masks were more breathable and not so hot          $good$
I haven't mastered the correct way of fixing them yet but when I took the mask off I still had the bracket stuck to my face and Mrs H thought that I looked like Hannibal Lecter so we both had a good laugh over it

Glad it helped, mine fitted perfectly, I think they were made for my chin ! ! Mrs H is going to try using the fixing points to attach inside a mask to see if it holds position better, but she still prefers the bracket for easier breathing.
