A covid-iot driver who broke lockdown rules to go for a spin ended up in a sticky situation.

Not only did they get their vehicle stuck in the mud, but they ended up being reported for breaching Covid-19 regulations.

Officers from North Wales Police's Wrexham Rural team tweeted about the incident.

Alongside a picture of the stricken vehicle, they wrote: "The occupants of this vehicle (whose decision making is as good as their driving) have been reported for breaching Covid regulations today.

"Why? Just why?"                                                                                                  ref DP

A father and son got fined for driving into N Wales one weekend, then they did it again on the next weekend and were fined again.   Absolute idiots and I hope that apart from the fines the Police are checking everything about the car and driver

Sadly, they've left the first fine at the same level.

Coronavirus: Maximum lockdown penalties rise to £1,920 in Wales

Which makes this all the more worrying.....

Packed beaches in England could be a sign of what's to come in Wales once lockdown is lifted

Some of England's most popular beaches were packed with tourist today as the country enjoyed one of the hottest days of the year

The Wales  lockdown fine of £60.00 should have been the same as the one in England but we'll have to see what happens over this Bank Holiday.

Anyone arriving in the UK from abroad could be fined £1,000 if they fail to self-isolate for 14 days, the government is expected to announce.

Under the plans, health officials would be able to carry out spot checks to check whether people were complying.

The new rules, which will also apply to British people returning from abroad, are not expected to come into force until next month.

Home Secretary Priti Patel will give more details at the daily briefing.

As part of the plans, which are aimed at guarding against a second wave of coronavirus infections, all arrivals would be asked to fill in a form with their contact information.

Road hauliers and medical officials would be exempt, as well as those arriving from the Republic of Ireland.

However, people travelling from France will not be exempt, the government has previously confirmed, after it was initially suggested otherwise.            cont   https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-52765054

More Covidiots in the area, what don't they understand about the lockdown         It's a shame that the fines don't justify the time and effort by the Police in tracking these people

Just how thick and stupid some people can be.     This woman is on record and has broken lockdown rules and even carried out racists remarks against the Welsh but will the Police prosecute her for those remarks,  probably not?

A man drove almost 200 miles to North Wales from the east coast of England in lockdown, say police.

A tweet by North Wales Police Wrexham Rural said a man had apparently driven Glyn Ceiriog in Wrexham from the east coast, breaching the coronavirus lockdown regulations.

"Officers have just arrested a male who had apparently driven to the Glyn Valley from the east coast, a journey of nearly 190miles.

"Suspected to be under the influence of drugs and his parking leads a lot to be desired."    ref DP

Ignorance is not an excuse in law but posting  racist rants on facebook is not only stupid it is illegal so I hope the Police deal with it like they would with any other racist cases
