New law on 2m distancing
New rules to protect workers during the coronavirus outbreak will come into force on Tuesday morning, First Minister Mark Drakeford has confirmed.

The regulations will mean the 2m social distancing rule will apply to any workplace, including homes, where work and repairs are being undertaken and outdoor spaces. The new rules apply to those workplaces not already covered by the original stay-at-home rules introduced almost two weeks ago

All businesses will have to take all reasonable measures to ensure the 2m rule is maintained between people on their premises whenever work is being carried out. Guidance will be issued to explain what can reasonably be expected of employers and businesses.

The rules about who can attend a funeral are being relaxed but the 2m rule will mean there will be a maximum limit on the number of people who can attend. refDP

Strikes me the police should dig out the Council Tax registers and pay al the second homes random visits. At around 0200, preferably.

They should also advise HMRC  because there is an Income Tax and potential Capital Gains Tax to consider that HMRC may not be aware of

The message cannot be any clearer for those people who flout the law

Coronavirus: Exercise out of the home 'could be banned' if people flout rules

Why do the small minority of idiots spoil it for the majority.?        Perhaps it's time for the Government to come down hard on those idiots who put the lives of others at risk

Two off-road bikers fled from police after officers tried to pull them over in Conwy.

The riders were seen on the A4086 in Capel Curig heading towards the Llanberis Pass by officers who tried to stop them to see why they were out and about.

They rode off, but were later tracked down by officers from the roads policing unit.

A spokesman for the roads policing unit said: "Two males from Wallasey riding their off-road motorbikes on A4086 Capel Curig towards Llanberis Pass.

Failed to stop for Llanrwst officers.
"Both stopped by us and reported to court for no insurance, fail to stop for police and offences under Covid Legislation. Bikes seized."

Well done to the North Wales Police and I hope that the Police told them to make their own way home and to stay there also
