Yeah - you can't correct once the footage has been shot, but if people shot landscape originally then we'd see the full scene.

Overheard a comment on TV this morning, that Spain had 4.500 new cases, a couple of days ago, not sure I heard right, but checking on line, I found a couple of links that were interesting.  (see below)

Spain is one of the main countries we holiday in, does the increase in cases, alter the quarantine free air bridge agreement we have with them. ?

Spain: Parties seen behind new surge in COVID-19
Spain reported 4,581 new cases over the weekend – twice as many as in the previous weekend

These events seem a bit ................   &shake&

Thousands of supporters gathered on Wednesday night as Sir Kenny Dalglish presented the trophy in an empty stadium after the team beat Chelsea.
Police had issued a dispersal order to clear about 3,000 fans from Anfield.

Leeds United have defended the decision to parade the Championship trophy from an open-top bus in front of fans after previously telling people to stay away.
Thousands gathered outside the club's ground to celebrate its return to the top flight,

Vehicles parked illegally in Snowdonia face being towed away, police have warned in the wake of chaotic scenes in the national park at the weekend.

More bus services are to be laid on, and extra staff will be deployed to prevent a repeat of what happened on Sunday, when hundreds of vehicles parked on the Pen-y-Pass and made it unpassable for motorists.

On weekends the car park at Pen-y-pass will be a drop-off site for buses and taxis only. Park bosses hope this will reinforce the message that walkers should park in Llanberis and Nant Peris and use the regular Sherpa bus services.

I see North Wales being overrun with irresponsible tourists, well join the club.
Scotland is having the same problems especially the North West corner. These are remote communities that have not got the facilities to cope with the numbers.
If you are considering a trip up to Scotland please make sure you have booked. A lot of places have not opened yet due to social distancing etc. This has led to all sorts of problems with littering, abandoned camping gear and human waste. Unbelievable.

Locals have started a facebook site. NC500 The Land Weeps.   What is wrong with these people who have no respect for anything or places.

Do we just blame it all on coming out of lockdown ? $angry$ &shake& :'(

Sorry to hear you are having the same problems, as for blaming it on coming out of lockdown, I think it is the usual selfish unthinking morons, who ignore any rules or advice, they just stand out at the moment, because sensible people are taking a more cautious approach, about returning to a more normal way of life.

And still the idiots come.    Around 60 vehicles were turned back from Snowdon before 8.00 am today!

One good thing in the report was that the tow truck is already in position in Pen Y Pass,

Tourists returning from Spain will now have to isolate for 14 days on their return back to the UK.     It was always a possibility and people must have known that before going there on holiday

https://www.dailypost.co.uk/news/north-wales-news/tourists-returning-spain-face-14-18663517

Following on from Hugo's post, three stories this morning from the BBC......

Travellers arriving in the UK from Spain must now quarantine for 14 days, under new coronavirus travel rules.

They were announced on Saturday following a spike in coronavirus cases in Spain, with more than 900 new cases of the virus reported on Friday.
Spanish officials have also warned a second wave could be imminent as major cities have seen cases surge.

Transport Secretary Grant Shapps has been caught up in his own department's rule change while on holiday in Spain.    &shake&
The cabinet minister travelled to the country with his family on Saturday morning for a summer break.
But just hours later, the Department for Transport confirmed all travellers returning to the UK from Spain would have to quarantine for 14 days, due to a spike in cases in the country.

A DfT spokesman said Mr Shapps would continue with his holiday as planned.
He will then isolate upon his return, in line with the new rules.

A lot of trust needed here, especially for those who were caught out by the announcement while on holiday, with jobs waiting for them.

The new coronavirus travel rule was announced on Saturday evening following a spike in the number of new cases in Spain this week.

It came into force less than six hours after it was confirmed by the government, and requires travellers returning from all parts of Spain - including the islands of Majorca, Menorca and Ibiza - to provide an address where they will self-isolate for 14 days or risk a fine.

During those two weeks, people must not go out to work, school, or public areas, or have visitors except for essential support.........

They should not go out to buy food if they can rely on others.
(This last part leaves a dangerous legal loophole in the new rules)

Confusing times..........but they can visit pubs, or even a day trip out............?

Millions of people in parts of northern England are now facing new lockdown restrictions, which ban separate households from meeting each other at home after a spike in Covid-19 cases.

The rules impact people in Greater Manchester, east Lancashire and parts of West Yorkshire.

The health secretary told the BBC the increase in transmission was due to people visiting friends and relatives.

Health Secretary Matt Hancock told BBC Breakfast the government had taken "targeted" action based on information gathered from contact tracing, which he said showed that "most of the transmission is happening between households visiting each other, and people visiting relatives and friends".

From above .........."but they can visit pubs, or even a day trip out............?"  guess where ?

Comment from the DP .....

"The First Minister wants to maintain an open border.

Following a spike in Covid-19 cases, visiting people at home has been banned in parts of northern England as well as rules on face coverings being extended to more indoor settings, including museums and places of worship.

But with the rules impacting Greater Manchester, east Lancashire and parts of West Yorkshire, a north Wales MP has raised concerns that stricter measures and the spike in cases could see more residents of these areas head for holiday homes in north Wales, placing greater pressure on already stretched health and public services."    ref DP

Second comment North Wales beaches packed.     ref DP
