Hi everyone, Does anyone out there remember the Co-op when it used to be located where Tribells is now?

Yes indeed.  8 Lloyd Street and 1 Chapel Street.  Acquired by the local Co-operative Society in 1921.

I also remember going to the shop for my mother,  her Divi No was 10625.  Later I got a job as a Delivery boy on an ‘Order Bike’ FOR The CO~OP Butchers in Trinity Avenue, by the traffic lights. and at the end of the day on Saturday after the butcher cashed up, I would take the cash to the shop on Lloyd St.    *cycle*
