After Hollin's success in posting that pic I'll have one last attempt before finally admitting defeat!

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and three people are seriously injured in hospital after a car crashed through railings and onto a beach.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing a woman being led away in handcuffs close to where the incident happed in Rhos on Sea.

The woman, believed to be in her 40s and wearing dark clothing, was being held by officers, according to eyewitness reports.

I tried again in another topic Gwynant and it didn't work so I still think there is something wrong.

I drove past the place where the car crashed into the rocks at Rhos on Sea and stopped to look at the place.
The car mounted the kerb and drove down the embankment and then dropped about two foot onto the promenade before crashing through the barrier and landing about 8 feet below on the rocks.
It's a miracle that no one died as a result of that accident.

Apparently the three people in the car, including the 47 year old woman driver are still in hospital.   Looking at the wreckage of the car they were lucky to escape with their lives after that accident

Modern cars are designed to crumple in an accident which takes most of the force out of the impact.
They end up looking a mess but the passenger compartment stays relatively intact & with the help of airbags/curtains the survival rate is much higher than a few years ago.

It's just as well that cars are built that way because there was quite a drop onto the rocks below.   I don't know how or why it happened but the facts will come out in due course.

The body of a man has been found at a North Wales hotel.

Police were called to the Travelodge in Gloddaeth Road in Llandudno this morning after the body was discovered.

It is understood that the man was a guest and was found in his room.

One thing we can rule out, it wasn't anything he ate while staying there.

Norm, I think Andy was just making the point that Travelodge don't offer any food.

I noticed the police presence there late morning, and they were still there after it got dark.
